Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Question: At the end of the scene in Brodie's comic book shop, Brodie says "cue the music." What song are Brody, Jay, and Silent Bob imitating?

Answer: Apparently it was a song that was improvised by Jason Lee and Jason Mewes. Stated on the commentary.

Question: Why was there a big emphasis when the girls came out of the van in the jumpsuits? Everyone in the theatre was cheering, but I didn't get it.

Answer: Because they are 4 really pretty girls in really tight clothing. Duh.

Grumpy Scot

Answer: Four beautiful women wearing tight black leather outfits would make anybody cheer.

Question: How does Brodie know Dante and Randall?

Answer: Brodie and Randall are cousins - they share the same cousin Walt and the same Grandma.

Answer: He must shop at the Quick Stop regularly, it's only a minute or two from the comic shop (I've been to both.)

Question: Shouldn't Jay already know that the bus charges for fare, seeing as how he bought two bus tickets in "Chasing Amy" to set up his and Silent Bob's meeting Bethany in "Dogma"?

Answer: You may have noticed that Jay is very stupid, and quite often stoned. He doesn't seem to type to learn from his mistakes, especially not ones that happened several years ago.

Question: Who played the Mystery Inc. gang in this movie?

Answer: OK, here ios how they are referred to in the script: Marc Blucas played "The Guy" (Fred), Matthew James played "The Dude" (Shaggy), Jane Silvia played "Bookish Girl" (Velma), and Carmen Lee played "Redhead Beauty" (Daphne).

Question: This may seem like a silly question, but I was wondering where I can get a black catsuit (with the matching boots) like the ones the girls were wearing during the bank heist scene?

Answer: Frederick's of Hollywood or Victoria's secret might carry them.

Continuity mistake: Near the end when Jay and Silent Bob fight Mark Hammil, Jay takes out the double sided bong saber and takes a hit from it; you can see the plastic lightsaber part of the other blade in the corner of the screen. It's white and green.

Jay: Hey, aren't you the guy that fucked the pie?
Jason Biggs: Yeah, yeah. You see? You see? It's never...it's never "Hey you were in Losers, weren't you?" Or "Dude, you rocked in Boys and Girls." No, it always comes back to that fucking pie. I'm haunted by it!
James Van Der Beek: You put your dick in a pie.
Jason Biggs: Enough.
