Continuity mistake: During the fight at the bar, when Jimmy and the bartender are fighting, the stances and position of their bodies change between several cuts.

Continuity mistake: When Famine is about to punch Jimmy in the stomach in the beginning, he starts to put his hand on Jimmy's shoulder, but in the next shot it is already on his shoulder and he is swinging his arm to punch Jimmy.

Continuity mistake: When Luc and Lola are getting married, they get closer together/farther apart throughout the shots from the front and back.

Continuity mistake: When War is going to blow himself up, as he says "I know your soft spot, Injun lover." his hand goes from being at his side, to up and pointing at Jimmy between shots.

Plot hole: If the protesters and miners had to simply wait for War to come through and open the fence to get at each other, they should have been able to do it themselves.

Plot hole: Why would so many toxic chemicals be used in coal mining, and used as close to the miners as illustrated in the film?

Other mistake: After the big fight at Rave-N-Fest, several people are just staring at Jimmy, unsurprised, like nothing happened.

Continuity mistake: When Jimmy's trailer explodes, in the first shot, the air is full of sparks and debris. Then the camera cuts, and almost all the debris in the air is gone, and the building is simply on fire.

Revealing mistake: When there is the quick zoom-in on Pestilence, you can tell they cut between to a different shot, as the skull logo on the barrel behind him goes from being sideways to right behind him.

Continuity mistake: When Luc says "Tonight, Satan is gonna walk in my shoes." Lola is facing him then turns away, but in the next shot she is suddenly facing him again.

Revealing mistake: When the man gets whacked by the fence in the very beginning, you can see it comes nowhere near actually hitting him.

Revealing mistake: You can tell the spears Lucifer throws at the crow are already stuck in as they supposedly hit him.

Continuity mistake: When "El Nino" says "Is that really you, original gangsta?", Lucifer/Death's head goes from pointing upwards to pointing downwards between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Pestilence says: "Long enough to see the injuns burn." the position of the gun in his hand changes between shots.

Deliberate mistake: When Lola frees Luc Crash in the beginning of the movie, he hits a guard, making him flip forward and fly through the air, even though this is impossible and it has nothing to do with magic or any other elements used in the story.

Deliberate mistake: At the end of the movie, the sun rises way to fast to be realistic. All we see is a sped up shot, and suddenly, it looks to have been up for at least an hour, all the while Jimmy and Luc fight in "real time." It makes no sense.

Deliberate mistake: When Pestilence kicks the barrel of flammable material, the impact of his shoe makes the barrel spark and shoot liquid all around. But the size of the sparks and smoke from his shoe hitting the barrel is ludicrous, and would in reality, ignite the liquid, which is already pouring out.

Continuity mistake: When War's truck drives out of the mine in the beginning, at first there are protesters a good ten feet away waving signs, but in the closer shot one of the protesters is waving a sign just about a foot or so away from his truck, without having any time to get closer.

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys first go to their hideout, War walks up to Lola. She goes from pulling gloves/bandages off her hands, to suddenly washing her hands between cuts.

Jimmy Cuervo: Someone owes me two lifetimes and a set of perfect blue eyes.

Trivia: When Jimmy is about to be brought back by the Crow, he has an eerie dream about Lily. If you listen carefully, you can hear two women whimpering in the background music/sounds. This particular sound effect is taken from the movie "Van Helsing" from the first scene to feature Dracula in color. (The only previous scene with him was black and white).

More trivia for The Crow: Wicked Prayer

Question: Originally this fourth "Crow" film was going to be called "The Crow: Lazarus" and be about a black wannabe rapper who is brought back by the crow after a drive-by shooting. Anyone know why this plot was dropped? Because it seemed to fit the material more than a movie about Satan and God.

Answer: As I understand it, it all had to do with a spat between the director of the original Crow movie (Alex Proyas, who had "approval" of all the subsequent Crow movies) the producer of the Crow movie franchise, Jeff Most, and Miramax. Miramax eventually caved in favor of the producer and it was made into a "non-Crow entity" when Miramax reportedly signed Eminem to play the bad guy.
