New this week Continuity mistake: In the Hulk scene at the diner, once Scott takes the picture of the kids, in the frontal shots he is holding the phone with his right hand and hands it to them, while the reverse shots don't match - egregiously noticeable when he says "I don't want a picture with them" waving an empty right hand. New this month Continuity mistake: Iron Man, Cap, Ant-Man and Hulk are shown leaping into 2012 just as the original six Avengers formed their circle. Cap then immediately begins reminding the team of their assignments. The dialogue is continuous so there is no time compression involved. Within 10 seconds of their arrival, they watch 2012 Hulk jump into a nearby street and begins smashing Chitauri and jumping on a car. However, in the original film, after the Avengers form the circle, the events that follow include Loki ordering more troops, then Cap giving orders to the rest of the team to hold them off, ending with the order for Hulk to "smash." Hulk then jumps up and starts fighting Chitauri along the sides of buildings before being knocked down into the street, where he could have presumably landed where the 2023 team sees him (the original film cuts to Thor at this point). These events in the original film take at least a minute to unfold in real time. (01:07:35)Vader47000
New this month Continuity mistake: When the camera is panning over the entire army on the Avengers' side for the first time, Captain America is standing in front of everyone, and his shield is intact and round again, while Thanos broke it earlier. The next time we see it, it's back to being broken.Friso94
New this month Plot hole: One of the big sources of tension in the heist is the fact that they supposedly have a limited number of Pym particles, as stated by Scott Lang. So after the test run they only have enough for everyone to take one round trip through time. Cap and Tony use their return supply to go to 1970, which is why they needed to steal more particles to get back. However, Ant-Man's shrinking tech is also based on the Pym particles, and his shrinking suit seems to work without restriction in 2012. They also have enough to both shrink the Benetar in 2023 and re-grow it in 2014. So either Scott is mistaken about how many Pym particles he has, or he is lying about them. And before someone says they calculated the number of particles it would take for the shrinking during the mission before assigning them to the team members, Scott discusses the limited supply before they had any plan of what they were going to do in the past.Vader47000
New this month Continuity mistake: In 2012, when Tony flies up inside the Stark Tower snooping on the Avengers talking to Loki, Loki delivers his lines faster compared to the original Avengers movie, and his movement is different too. (01:16:15)chauvihao
New this month Revealing mistake: When Rocket pets Scott Lang's hair, one can see an artifact of the motion-capture performer's actual human-sized hand moving Paul Rudd's hair. As a result, Rocket's small hand moves far more hair without actually touching it. (01:04:15)
New this month Continuity mistake: When Thor and Rocket are sneaking past Loki's cell, Loki is playing with his object but in Thor: The Dark World, that was almost the same time Algrim became Kurse and caused the prison break. Plus Jane Foster never woke up, because she didn't sleep in in that sequence in the original film, and when Thor is talking with his mother, there's no sign of a battle going on outside. New this month Continuity mistake: The first time period the film cuts to after the quantum jump is New York 2012, and shows the clip of the six original Avengers assembled for the first time, forming a circle, as seen in the 2012 film, It then cuts to new footage from this film - an overhead shot of the original team that then pans over to the alley where the future versions arrive. In the original footage, to Hulk's left and in front of Hawkeye are two overturned cars, then a couple of cabs in a row. However, in the overhead shot, in this spot there is just a bunch of rubble from the damaged streets, and a single car right-side up, and no cabs where they should be. Also, there should probably be pieces of a leviathan creature lying around too since Iron Man blew one up just before they formed up. In the original film the creature crashed and then fell over the side of the raised road onto the lower road. But nothing indicating this is visible in the overhead shot. (01:07:25)Vader47000
Continuity mistake: During the final battle when Captain America says "Avengers Assemble" we can see Black Panther on his left with the rest of the Avengers. Then the next shot shows Black Panther, Shuri and Okoye with the Wakandan army.
