Continuity mistake: In the scene where the dye pack explodes and Gale wipes off a spot to see H.I. and Ed coming right at them, you can see that H.I. is the one driving when the car swerves. Ed was driving in the previous scene.
H.I.: Do you ever get the feeling that there's something... Powerful pressing down on you?
Glen: Yes, I know that feeling. I told Dot to lose some weight but she don't wanna listen.
Trivia: In several scenes where H.I. is in the factory where he works his work suit has a "Hudsucker Industries" patch on it. The Cohen brothers who directed and produced the movie also put out a movie a few years back called "The Hudsucker Proxy."
