Continuity mistake: When Pierce's wife is walking in her auto shop they pan down to show her red Louboutin heels, then they cut to her walking in her office, and when they show her shoes again they have a tan sole.
Factual error: When Ray leaves his wife Gina and his car is hit by the truck he should still be in England, but when he is being chased through the streets he is in South Africa, the cops in the car are not in English police uniforms or vehicle, police livery is incorrect, and all vehicles have South Africa plates, not English number plates.
Plot hole: Nile checks the gun Andy gave her and realises it's empty, which in turn leads her to realise that Booker was setting them up, because he gave that gun to Andy in the first place. No way that Nile, a marine, and Andy, a timeless warrior, somehow both missed the noticeable difference in weight between a fully loaded pistol and an empty one.
Plot hole: There is no reason at all why, being targeted by a few arrows by unseen enemies - a fire suppressed already by the salvo of their own archers - the Rourans would turn around their heavy siege equipment, away from the bulk of the enemy forces, and fire it, hurling a single heavy stone to the middle of nowhere when they have the whole rest of the army who could storm the rock the supposed enemy commandos hide behind, or the archers who could keep shooting - again, they proved to be completely successful. It also makes no sense that the all-powerful witch who made the warriors flee managed to do any of this, 'sneaking' by horse in the middle of the steppe.
Continuity mistake: The protagonist, Neil and Kat are in the back of the yellow ambulance in the parking garage. Neil checks on Kat, after that he removes plastic gloves from his hands and throws them into the trash right next to him, 2 cuts later he again crumples a pair of plastic gloves. (01:46:15)
Other mistake: *Spoiler Alert* The strength of the underwater suits is wildly inconsistent. Rodrigo's suit almost immediately cracks and implodes, killing him. Paul's suit is easily ripped open by the creatures, also killing him, but Norah is repeatedly slammed into the sea floor by one of the creatures and her suit remains remarkably intact.
Factual error: The Corvette owned by Bentwood is not a Z06 as shown in the movie. It is a 2014 C7 Stingray and can be identified by the Stingray logo on the side of the car.
Continuity mistake: A few minutes after 4:00 AM, Tom whacks the front door with a hatchet / tomahawk - almost instantly an upstairs light is turned on, and by the time it takes for Tom to take a couple steps into the house, the boyfriend and ex-wife are just feet away from Tom. The two people inside the house somehow managed to instantly wake up from the bang on the door plus travel half-way across the house and go from upstairs to downstairs without using the "vertical" staircase! The distance they covered in such a short amount of time (a few seconds?) was absurd. (00:00:47 - 00:01:36)
Factual error: Both Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) and the Colonel (Shataf Figar) are shown lining up their targets perfectly with the cross hairs in their rifle scopes. This is a common error in films. In real life, adjustments are made for wind and gravity, and the target is almost never lined up exactly in the crosshairs. Not only that, everyone in the film using sniper rifles makes several perfect kill shots, all on the first attempt and all without a spotter. Useful for movies, but extremely unlikely in real life.
Continuity mistake: Chul-min gets the number 61 spray painted on his torso and back, at the compound. When the soldiers begin taking him to the shipping container to lock him in, the number 6 on his torso is smudged. A minute later, when the inmates begin going into the zombie pit, the 6 on his torso is no longer has the smudging shown earlier. (00:50:55 - 00:52:15)
