Best drama movie mistakes of 2015
Continuity mistake: When Anastasia returns home with the contract in her hand, she enters her flat and the computer guy is just finishing fixing her laptop. During this scene her brown leather jacket disappears, but she is still holding the contract in her hand - this is a continuous scene with no time for her to remove the jacket.
Factual error: In the film, the San Andreas fault produces the largest, most sensational earthquake in earth history that levels both Los Angeles and San Francisco, also creating a massive tsunami that also floods the latter. In reality, and according to many earthquake experts, the biggest quake that this fault could produce is an 8.3 and, being a land and not ocean fault, cannot cause a tsunami. Or as consultant to the film Tom Jordan, director of the Southern California Earthquake Center stated, "I gave (the filmmakers) free advice, some of which they took... But much of which they didn't - magnitude nines are too big for the San Andreas, and it can't produce a big tsunami."
Factual error: When the exchange is made in Berlin it is bitter winter with snow on the ground. But Donovan returns to New York (the TV newsmen is reporting that Powers has been returned "earlier this morning") so it is within hours, and yet the leaves on the trees in NY are green, the grass is green, people are in shirtsleeves. Berlin and NY share the same seasons.
Factual error: During the Mike Webster autopsy, Dr Omalu asks Gracie for Mike's CT Scan of the brain again, but what she holds up is a MRI film, not CT. Then after interpreting the displayed MRI Dr. Omalu tells Gracie that this brain should be a mess, but it looks completely normal. Whereas the MRI shown by Gracie reveals several abnormalities like brain atrophy and degeneration due to complications of previous disease process.

Revealing mistake: Right at the beginning of the film "rain" is falling on the car the camera shows before it moves to focus into the tunnel. However, look at the cars behind it, they aren't wet at all and it's visibly sunny. It's water being poured onto the car directly in front of the camera.

Continuity mistake: Near to the end Gabriel Oak leaves the farm and as he leaves his cottage he is dressed in a white shirt, cream trousers and a dark waistcoat. When Bathsheba Everdene catches up with him on the road he has completely changed his clothes and is now dressed predominantly in blue.
Factual error: The film is set in Nairobi. It's all wrong, from the local language, not using Swahili, the car registration numbers are the wrong format, Kenya plates are like British, yellow at the back, not white. The skyline is wrong, and the drone view of the city map is wrong, the golf course is not the correct layout.
