Best movie other mistakes of 2011
Other mistake: In the pre-credit scenes when the chopper spots the runaway car, Driver guns it (he clenches his jaw, fists and you hear the engine revving and gears changing) but he never catches up with the two cars only a few feet in front of him (which are proceeding at normal speed) for the whole length of the bridge.

Other mistake: In both the books and the movies, Harry's Invisibility Cloak can always be seen until it is worn. In Diagon Alley, just before the Gringott's break-in, Ron pulls out the cloak to cover Harry and Griphook, but it turns invisible before he puts it on them. Ron merely mimes the motion of covering them.
Other mistake: When the chief of police is introducing Porter Nash as the new Acting Inspector he shows a copy of a paper which, if you look carefully, tells about a second cop being shot. Later in the film, the second cop is shot and then the chief is shown to be reading the same paper.

Other mistake: When Holmes and his gang are running from the Germans through the forest, one of Moriarity's German lackeys yells that it is time to introduce them to "Little Hansel" (in subtitles). Strangely, what he really yelled was, "zu viele Fuchse fur euch paar Huhner," or "too many foxes for those few chickens." Not sure why they made such a change in dialogue (where the German phrase was ever thought to fit in).

Other mistake: In the beginning, Eric reads to Hanna from an encyclopedia. He first talks about the blue whale. Hanna asks him about music and then he turns two pages further and reads the article about music. This is impossible if he was looking up the whale under the letter "W", because he then would have had to turn a lot of pages back, instead of further. Also, had the entry been under the letter "B" from blue, it would have been further than 2 pages. He could not have been looking up the word "Mammal", because there would not be more than the mentioning of the name "Whale" under that description, and not an entire explanation plus picture of this animal like in the movie. If he would want info on the Whale like the info he read, he would have had to look it up under the letter "W", this is true in any encyclopedia.
Other mistake: When Graeme is convincing Ruth to go with them and she says "Where would I sleep?", you can see her left eyeball through the dark lens: it moves as she looks to her right twice and then back. In the next scene, it is shown that she doesn't have a visible eyeball in her left eye.
Other mistake: The Super 8 cameras used are both sound models, one Eumig and one Kodak, but when the film and film boxes are shown, they are the normal Super 8 silent cartridges, which are square. Sound movie cartridges are rectangular to accommodate the sound recording mechanism in a Super 8 Sound camera.
Other mistake: To get revenge against the reds for chopping off his hat, Benny goes inside the house to use the computer to change the woman's lawn mower order. Benny never hits the 'ENTER' key to complete things. Things are completed when he steps on the 'SPACEBAR'. Same thing happens later when Benny is ordering a female flamingo.
Other mistake: When the airship crash lands in the garden at the end of the film, D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, Aramis and Constance are all still aboard, along with the Queen's diamonds. However, only a minute or two later, the Queen emerges wearing the perfectly polished diamonds, and Constance is behind her, her hair, dress and makeup impeccable. This could not have been achieved in the time between the ship crashing and then.
Other mistake: Jacob takes Cal shopping. In the shot during which Jacob says to Cal "the skin under your eyes is starting to look like Hugh Hefner's ball sack," the film is flipped and the viewer is watching a reverse (or mirror) image. This is revealed principally by the fact that the emblem on Cal's Polo shirt is on the right side of his chest as opposed to his left.
