The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1

Continuity mistake: When Edward and Bella are in the taxi in Brazil, he has his wedding ring on. In the shot when he kisses Bella in the street, the ring is suddenly gone.

Revealing mistake: When Bella calls Rosalie, you can briefly see the cell phone screen before she puts it to her ear. The lock screen is still visible, showing she didn't dial anything. (00:55:45)

Sammi

Revealing mistake: Notice when Edward picks up Bella at the island. He kind of stumbles like Bella is heavy although he has superhuman strength.

Revealing mistake: When Bella agrees to drink human blood to save herself and her baby, she says: "I'll try anything." If you look closely at her mouth when she speaks, you can see that even prior to her first sip of blood, there is a red substance between her teeth from a previous take.

Continuity mistake: During the honeymoon, at the top of the waterfall when Bella jumps onto Edward's back she is wearing shoes. When they jump into the water Bella is barefoot. (00:42:05)

Other mistake: Emmett states that the Cullens "haven't hunted in weeks", meaning all of the vampires should have black eyes. However, all of the actors still have their golden contacts in. This is especially noticeable on the Blu-Ray.

Continuity mistake: Charlie hands Bella off to Edward at the altar, she is carrying her bouquet, the next shot is from behind them, Bella, Edward, and the pastor in the shot, she still has her flowers. In the next frame, from the front, it's Bella, Edward and the pastor's back, flowers are gone, and they never show up again. She didn't hand them off, there was no one to hand them too.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Bella has just given birth and stops breathing, she is wearing a gray shirt. Then Jacob starts CPR on her and her outfit changes to include a robe.

Continuity mistake: As Bella walks down the aisle during the wedding ceremony, a single strand of her hair has gotten caught in the right-hand corner of her mouth, then it disappears, then it is back again. (This is harder to see on DVD than it was on the movie screen.) (00:13:40)

Continuity mistake: When Jacob runs outside the Cullen's house to stop the wolves from fighting them. He leaps off the steps and runs towards them. Before the shot changes he is right beside Edward and another wolf, however, in the close up shot of him saying "Stop!" suddenly he's in front of Edward. (01:40:40)

Continuity mistake: When Bella first discovers that she is pregnant by throwing up, she closes the toilet seat with her right hand upon seeing Edward. When the camera cuts back to Bella, her hands have changed and the left one is resting on the toilet seat cover instead. (00:49:10)

Continuity mistake: Fullscreen only: Charlie walks up to Bella and asks if she is ready (to walk down the aisle), the stem on his lapel flower is white. She glances at the guests waiting, camera shot is back on her and Charlie, the stem is suddenly black.

Continuity mistake: When Jacob and his pack meet with Sam's pack, Seth and Leah are standing behind Jacob the entire time. At the end of the scene, when Sam's pack leaves, we cut to a shot of Jacob from the same angle as the previous shots where Seth and Leah were, and they are gone, with no indication that they left.

Brad

Continuity mistake: As Edward and Jacob are working to revive Bella just after she gives birth, Bella's eyes keep changing from being open and unblinking to tightly closed. The "making of" documentary on the "DVD Extra", showed a life-size dummy of an emaciated Bella with closed eyes that was used in more physical scenes. You can tell it's the dummy whenever Bella is shown with her eyes shut.

Continuity mistake: When Edward transforms Bella, he bites her neck first, then her arms, and so on. In the very next close up of Bella, there are no bite marks in her neck at all.

Continuity mistake: When Edward is showing Bella the bruises on her arm and shoulder, his wedding ring is on his right hand. They are looking in a mirror, but the camera is on Edward, not the reflection.

mon

Continuity mistake: When Bella is first seen pregnant, she is wearing grey pants, a blue shirt and navy jacket, Edward is wearing a brown shirt, and Carlisle is wearing a blue mock turtleneck. On what is supposed to be the next day (and after having seen them wearing different clothing), all three are wearing the same clothes again while in the library/makeshift hospital room. They are discussing a cracked rib that was causing Bella pain the day before. These scenes were obviously meant to be back-to-back, but were rearranged in editing.

Question: If imprinting is possible for werewolves then why didn't Jacob do it to Bella? Mad Magazine pointed this out as he does this to her daughter, kind of creepy it was.

Rob245

Answer: Imprinting is an involuntary mechanism. The shape-shifter can't voluntarily imprint on anybody. Jacob tried to imprint on Bella but was unable to do so and began going around looking for other girls to imprint on but, is unable to do it of his own free will.

On the flip side, Sam Ulee was in love with Leah Clearwater, but then he involuntarily imprinted on Emily, dumping Leah and breaking her heart.

raywest

Answer: In addition to the other answer, imprinting is not only a sexual thing. As Jacob explains it, it is about being whatever the person who is imprinted on wants or needs, whether it is as a lover, a protector, a life-long friend, etc.
