Continuity mistake: In the scene explaining the history of the missing jade elephants, they are described as being given to ambassadors by the emperor Zhu Di of China when the Forbidden City (in China) was first opened to foreigners in 1421. When the elephants are all brought together, the representative Daichi Yoshida from the Japanese embassy comes to pick them up, describing them as "a priceless piece of our history."

Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode, the Mercedes S class that is burning is not the same car that Castle drove previously in the episode, it's an older model one. Either it's a mistake or has to do something with the plot resolution, decide yourselves...
Continuity mistake: In "Wheels," when Artie is singing 'Dancing By Myself' and doing tricks in his wheelchair, the wheels on the back of the chair that prevent him from falling backwards disappear and reappear, depending on whether or not he is performing a trick.
Continuity mistake: During the episode when Clair and Phil do their warm-up before racing each other, their children Alex and Luke arrive from school. They get down from the car, and the car takes off and goes away. But in the 2nd shot we can see that same car parked in front of them.
Factual error: When the bikers are chasing the bus, one of them crashes into the "Now Leaving Texarkana" sign. However, shortly before this, we see Cyril crashing into the sign reading "Austin. 105 miles." Texarkana is almost 350 miles from Austin.
Factual error: When browsing for information about the crow deaths in the Ganwar Region of Somalia, the computer indicates that the CDC requested additional funding from DHS. The only problem with that is, DHS was formed in 2002, 11 years after the incident in Ganwar.
Factual error: In the banner for the exibition in France at the start, the French isn't right. It says "Opéra nationale" and "La morte de Marie Antoinette Des objets fabriqués de le temps de Marie Antoinette". It should be "Opera national" and "La mort de Marie Antoinette Des objets fabriqués à l'époque de Marie Antoinette" or "des objets fabriqués du temps de Marie Antoinette".
Continuity mistake: In season 1 episode 2, the beautiful blonde visitor takes a picture of herself on Tyler's phone. However, we get a perfect view of her as she concentrates to take the snap (looking very serious and studious, barely showing her teeth), but when we see the picture she is wearing a classic toothy smile right across her face.
Continuity mistake: Buddy is doing a lobster themed cake for a bachelor party. When Buddy goes in to tell the staff, there is a huge cake 3 tiers high being worked on, almost complete, on the table in the background. As he makes the parts for the lobster cake the cake in the back has fewer tiers, no decorations, no icing, and back again, completely out of order.
Revealing mistake: In episode 14, season 1, "Human": When Chloe, Eli, Greer, and the rest of the team first go to the alien planet, you can see a car driving in the background to the left of the screen at the beginning of the shot (which wouldn't make sense considering they're on an alien planet).
Continuity mistake: When Ted's talking about saying "I Love You" after sex, we see a flashback to the previous evening, him rolling over and saying it, then it cuts. He then talks about making it worse - we see the same scene again, this time not cutting afterwards, except it's not the same scene. The first time the duvet was down to his date's waist, the second time it stays up by her chest.

Revealing mistake: When Ruxin's phone conversation with Kevin is overheard by Jenny, she starts an online chat with Ruxin. She sends her message, but almost as soon as she's sent it, for a fraction of a second we see "reply from Ruxin" appear on her screen, before the shot cuts to Ruxin actually seeing it and writing his reply.

Continuity mistake: Episode 4-6, "About Face" (aired July 18, 2012): Hank boards Boris' helicopter, but just before he does the helicopter is shown in a wide shot with no one nearby. Hank boards and a guard closes the door from the exterior. Seconds later the helicopter takes off and a wide shot shows no one on the ground. The guard appears out of nowhere and then vanishes.
Continuity mistake: When Mo-Mo flushes the spider out of the patient's ear, the amount of fluid in the syringe changes depending on the angle of the shot without him having used any yet. When facing Mo-Mo, the syringe is between 1/4 and 1/2 full, when facing the patient, the syringe is about 3/4 - completely full. The amount varies each time the shot is changed.
Revealing mistake: At the end of the episode when Leroy is trying to get a cat to come down off the house, it jumps at him and he gets into a "fight" with the cat going at his face. It is painfully obvious that the cat is just a stuffed toy and David Mann is just controlling it.
