Continuity mistake: Axl and his friend chase Darren out of the house and into the snow, churning a path in the snow. However, in the overhead shots of all three boys, the churned snow path is not there, just undisturbed snow.

Revealing mistake: As the Hecks check out the neighborhood Christmas lights, the same house with the same decorations are seen through Sue's side of the car several times, showing the background scenes of the house and decorations were replayed.
Continuity mistake: When Frankie is going crazy lying on the floor because of all of the stuff still in the house, objects move around as the camera shots get closer to her, look at the VHS tape on her left.

Continuity mistake: Mike is holding and looking through Brick's Halloween bag when Brick wanders off to the next house and encounters Cindy. When he walks back to where Mike is, Brick is carrying the bag.
Factual error: Sue's birthday isn't actually on Leap Day as this birthday is her 15th (in season 4 she celebrates her Sweet 16) and Leap Day birthdays are multiples of 4. The closest leap day birthday in this sense would be her 16th.
Continuity mistake: As Sue is freaking out about the reviews, she makes a lot of eye contact with a customer. As she is doing this she makes a large orange soda. In the first angle, she takes out 2 cups to pour the soda in, but in the second shot when she puts it down, it's only one cup. (00:11:50)
Character mistake: When Sue and her opponent switch sides right before her opponent smashes her racket, the score in games is 5-1. In tennis, you only switch sides when the sum of games is an odd number (4-3, 5-2, 1-0) for example.
Other mistake: When Brick first goes to see Betty White in the library, she gives him until Walt Whitman's birthday (May 31st) to return the books. When he returns and realises he is still short 1 book, she gives him until Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's birthday which is May 22nd - before Whitman's birthday.
