Continuity mistake: After Gerry gets smacked in the face by the 'broken' suspender clasp, we see the silver clasp land under the dresser. Yet, when he's moaning and lifting his leg to get onto the bed, we can actually see the clasp still intact on the front suspender that came loose, which is dangling right behind him (just look between his legs). Of course, in the next shot, that clasp is gone. Since the silver clasp is one of the plot points, this is bizarre to say the least. (00:11:10)
Continuity mistake: The beginning of the movie is set on Thursday, the day after Jim died, and Bridgette's face was just fine. Later in the movie, on Saturday, Bridgette was at the funeral with cuts and stitches on her face. Then, the movie goes back to Tuesday, the day before Jim died, and they show Bridgette running into the glass door and cutting her face. So if it happened on Tuesday, the first scene of the movie (Thursday) should have shown the cuts on her face.
Continuity mistake: At the start, Robert Neville drives into some yellow poles, only to drive into them again in the following shot.
Continuity mistake: Before the school bell rings, Jason asks Ms. Darbus for her favorite summer memory. When everyone turns to look at him in the shot from the front of the class, there is a book under Troy's desk, which is not there in the previous or following shots. (00:01:25)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Gruwell and the students are discussing junior year for the first time, she has her back turned and she is writing on the board. When she writes, "First Person Na", she turns around before finishing the last word, but in the next shot, "First Person Narrative" is written on the board.
Continuity mistake: After April's father tells her about DJ's record, she goes to the frat house to see him. As she is walking up the sidewalk, she is empty handed and no purse is on either shoulder. Then, when she comes in the door she's holding a purse.
Continuity mistake: As Juno is walking into the abortion clinic, an exterior shot shows that there is only one entrance door. The shot of her entering from inside the clinic shows a double-door entrance. (00:17:50)
Continuity mistake: After they almost get run over by the man on the motorcycle, Jack receives a phone call. He answers with his left hand on his left ear, then it cuts and it's in his right hand and his right ear. It switches back in the next cut.
Continuity mistake: When Anne is running along Camden Place with the houses on the right, as she stops to talk with Harriet there is a gentleman with a walking cane and lady on each side walking ahead of them. As Anne starts to run away the camera faces her as she is looking along Camden Place from the reverse angle i.e. with the houses on the left, the gentleman and ladies are now behind when they should be out of shot behind the camera. Continuity mistake: During the fight between Raph and Leo, Raph breaks Leo's swords. Later when Raph gives the broken swords to Splinter they are broken much closer to the hilt then before. (00:56:40 - 01:00:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Edward and Carter are on the plane, Edwards book keeps changing position from mostly open to mostly closed, as well as the amount read varies. (00:45:20)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Dakota is having sex with Aubrey's boyfriend, it specifically shows that her bra is off. Once they finish, and she is getting off of him, she is covering her chest with the sheet. When she does this, her side isn't covered and you can that she is now wearing a black bra.
Continuity mistake: First day in class, when Hoager "beeps" at Jesse, Mrs. Myers writes two words. The word "verb" is over the word "subject" on the board, in the close-up. After she turns around, in the following shots, the word "predicate" appears, disappears, then reappears and "subject" is written over "verb" now. Additionally, during this scene, all the other writing on the blackboard changes between shots as well. (00:06:15)
Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Lucy tries to get into the building, she is blocked by police officers holding clubs straight ahead in front of them. The scene cuts to a roof shot, then back again, and Lucy tries again, but the clubs are missing, the cops just have their hands out in front of them.
Continuity mistake: The "Power Play" scene when Eric and Hanssen are in the car after a cancelled meeting (13). With Eric's line, "There's construction on E Street," the Kennedy Center appears behind his head, but in the next shot of him ("Sir, I'm SSG.,") the Kennedy Center shows up again, this time farther ahead of the car. Continuity mistake: While Jon is fixing his contracture with the weight on the door, the position of Wendy's toast on the plate keeps changing depending on the angle.
Continuity mistake: During the complete car-bomb chase sequence towards the end of the film, Michael Clayton's car is shown in one shot without its lights on. All the surrounding shots in the scene have both cars with their lights on. This is also a slightly revealing error because it shows that they actually filmed these sequences during the day using neutral density filters. (01:41:15)
Continuity mistake: As Mike scrolls through the microfilm, we see his view as the pages scroll from right to left. The shot then reverses to show his face through the scrolling film, but while the film is now properly reversed, it's still moving right to left in our view. But this reversed angle should show it moving left to right. (00:12:05)
Continuity mistake: The whole time Dan is in the bookstore and outside talking to Marie, he is wearing a blue undershirt. However on his way home from the bookstore, he runs a stop sign. When the cop comes up behind him you can see that his undershirt is now grey. When he gets home and walks through the door, his shirt has gone back to blue. So Dan's shirt changes a few times when everything is supposed to be in the same sequence of time and events.
Continuity mistake: In the scene outside the hospital, after Nick Poole has been shot, Remy Bressant picks up the bottle of liquor, which was capped by Patrick Kenzie and drinks straight from the bottle. The bottle has mysteriously uncapped itself.
