Continuity mistake: On the ferry, Rachel wears the purple/pink camouflage hoodie over her orange knit sweater with the colorful stripe sleeves, as usual. Now this is where things become strange. In the first shot as the trio come ashore, she is only wearing her orange sweater, she is not wearing the purple/pink hoodie - note the clear lack of fur hood. In the very next shot as they climb a bit more and then rest, Rachel is wearing the purple/pink hoodie - note the hood, but now it's on under her orange sweater. In the underwater shots she is also wearing it under the orange sweater. (This odd mistake has absolutely nothing to do with the very long wool cloak that Rachel wears in the next scene). Continuity mistake: When Portnow meets with Bishop at the church, in the first closeup of Bishop's crossword puzzle the word "MUD" is the second word across at the top, and at the center of the puzzle the 4-letter word "GEAR" is written in the 5-letter answer - with the fist space left empty. However, in the next closeup of the puzzle, now the word "ETA" is the second word at the top and "MUD" is the third, and the word "GEARS" has the "S" added, with the letter "G" started properly in the first space of the answer. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Avner shoots the first Palestinian, the dead man falls forward onto his groceries, but the next time the body is seen, he is lying on his back.
Continuity mistake: When Amanda and Daniel entered the bathroom from 'Saw', Adam's body is shown with his right leg shackled. However, in 'Saw' and in Adam's death flashback in 'Saw III', his left leg is shackled. (01:14:10)
Continuity mistake: During one of the scenes when Brad Pitt arrives home, he is driving a Lincoln Town Car, not his Cadillac. This is the car that he doesn't get until later, when he steals it and drives home during the scene when they crash the cars into each other at the end of the driveway.
Suggested correction: Didn't he steal the Lincoln after the restaurant?
He did. But, the car appears before he steals it when he drives home after going to her office.
Continuity mistake: When John is driving to work and he hears Anna on the radio, he swerves to avoid a car. From inside the car you can see that there are no cars in the rear window, yet when the shot changes to an outside shot, there are 3 cars. (00:33:35)
Continuity mistake: As the gang drives towards the cave entrance, the spare wheel on the back of the car that Sarah is driving switches sides three times. (00:16:30 - 00:17:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn are talking for the first time in the lounge area, Nicole's bangs go from across her eye to swept aside from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: When Constantine manages to get the mirror through the window he falls on his back. To the right on the screen a chair lies on the floor beside a dresser. A few shots later when it cuts to Constantine getting up we can see the chair has changed position as its back now covers the opening of the dresser. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: When Lincoln and Jordan are running to the Zone 6 door during their escape Lincoln throws a person into Jordan knocking her down. However in the next scene she is miraculously right behind Lincoln again.
Continuity mistake: When Billy is holding logs still for George to chop, the second log he puts on the stump is stripped of any bark. But when George swings down to chop it, the log is suddenly covered in bark. (00:50:45)
Continuity mistake: As Rachel is preparing the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, she places the knife on top of the open PB jar in a closeup, but in the very next shot the knife has disappeared, then reappears again. (01:23:15)
Continuity mistake: When Paxton & Kana escape the factory by stealing a car, he checks his rear-view mirror to see the car pursuing him - the road has a dividing dashed white line on it. Continuity mistake: As V attacks all of Creedy's men with his knives, in one shot he cuts one man's neck, and blood sprays onto the man's face, but in the next shot as the man falls, his face is clean.
Continuity mistake: Sithandra grabs a branch as she runs through the garden, which changes in appearance between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Vin Diesel gets hit by the sprinklers at the beginning when he gets in the house his pants are completely dry.
Continuity mistake: When Jimmy is getting ready to propose, in the shot where he pets his dog, you can see in the first shot from in front he is not moving, yet in the next shot he is walking and leaning towards the dog.
Continuity mistake: When Franks Audi does the big jump from the top of the car park, it lands and you can see the front of the car get damaged, yet in later shots the damage has gone.
Continuity mistake: The plane they are on changes several times throughout the movie. When it is sitting at the gate in Dallas, and while being pushed back from the gate, it is a Boeing 737. When it is shown taxiing out, it is an Airbus A320. Air to air shots are of a Boeing 767, which is also the same as the interior shots all throughout the movie. The 737 and A320 are narrowbodies, while the 767 is a widebody, commonly configured 2-4-2 like the interior in the movie.
Continuity mistake: When Nancy is dancing, she is alternately wearing/not wearing gloves between shots.
