Continuity mistake: NBA Finals-Game 1. Andie wants Ben to buy her a Coke. During this scene, the camera cuts back and forth between Andie and Ben, and the basketball game. When Ben first looks at the game clock there is a little over a minute left in the game. He rushes to get her soda, and when he gets back, she says she wanted Diet Coke. There is a shot in this sequence where the camera is filming the basketball action, and you can see the game clock with over 7 minutes remaining, even though they are supposed to be nearing the 30 second mark. Visible crew/equipment: When Tom and Dylan are hanging from the chandelier, there is a shot of the ceiling showing the chandelier coming loose. Then when it cuts back to Tom hanging from the chandelier, in the background behind him is a crewmember holding a boom mic. (00:24:15)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the police car is chasing Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman on a bike down in a tunnel, in one shot, the police car's flashing light on top is ripped off by the low ceiling. In the very next shot, the lights are still on the top. The next shot shows the lights are gone. (01:13:50)
Revealing mistake: When Linderman dashes at Jason and impales him with an American flag, Will is dragging Lori (who is supposed to be unconscious). He's dragging Lori by her arms... but when he suddenly reaches behind his back with his right arm, her right arm stays up in the air. (01:13:50)
Continuity mistake: After their encounter with the monks, Buddy and Dave speed off and come out onto a road. The first shot sees the whole car come onto the road, where there is a double unbroken line in the middle of it. The shot changes to Buddy and Dave in the car. Watch through the back windshield. The double unbroken line has turned into a single, broken line. (01:07:35)
Continuity mistake: When Vernita and The Bride are talking in the kitchen and Vernita shoots The Bride from the cereal box, you can see the bullet hole in the back wall of the kitchen, but then a little later that part of the wall doesn't have any bullet holes. Also, not only is the bullet hole not where you see it hit in the first place, it's on the other side of the bride's head, along with the splatter from the cereal box.
Continuity mistake: As Viktor's tomb is opening there is a shot from above showing Selene looking down the opening tomb. Watch the placement of her feet. In the next shot, her feet have moved closer to the opening. (00:44:40)
Continuity mistake: The chain with which El and Carolina are linked together gets cut open with a welding torch. When the chain falls down on the ground it's intact again. (00:34:50)
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Sam Jackson and Colin Farrell are stopped from escaping the subway tunnel at a locked gate, they get the idea to blow the lock with explosives but there is a visible, unexplained string extending from the lock as it is used to create the effect of the lock being blown off.
Continuity mistake: The hole in the car windshield changes size from when the Hulk throws the dog through it to when it's shown the next morning.
Revealing mistake: When the camera shows the coffee cup in the cop's car, you can see the ignition is in the off position. (00:09:16)
Visible crew/equipment: When the Mini Coopers jump out of the sewage tunnel, you can see the black ramp they launch off of to give the tunnel exit more of a dramatic effect. (01:36:15)
Visible crew/equipment: When Peter is at the golf course with Mrs. Arness, you can see the golf cart behind them. In the next scene, there is a woman sitting in it and she appears to be the stand in for Mrs. Arness. (Confirmed on the audio commentary). (00:40:05)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Sheriff is wrapping the suicide victim's body, he has a roll of plastic wrap. He is shown with the box, then as he begins to wrap the head, he has just the roll, and in the next shot it is back in the box again. He presumably would have left it out of the box the entire time, since the box would only get in the way of trying to wrap the body. (00:33:00)
Factual error: In the scene where the kids are viewing the cupcake baking, there is a sign in the corner reading "laugh". The sign is facing towards the chef, when it should be facing the crowd. (00:31:40)
Continuity mistake: When Algren teaches a soldier to shoot, the soldier has a chin strap below his lip. Yet, in the next shot there is no strap. (00:19:35)
Continuity mistake: When Steve Zahn and Martin Lawrence are driving away from the police in the junkyard, they hit a car in the junkyard, and we can see the damage inflicted on it. However, in all of the shots following the car is not damaged. (00:55:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Scott falls after getting hit by the three arrows, you can clearly see a long tube leading all the way up his leg which pumps the fake blood up to his shirt. (00:41:25)
Continuity mistake: After Kid crashes towards the end in his race against Dogg, a wide shot shows that he's quite far from the bike, which is in the middle of the track resting horizontally on its kickstand, with something black against the wall behind him. In the closer shot of Lawrence Fishburne running up to him, he's just struggling to his feet, so hasn't moved, yet is much closer to the bike, which is now right up against the wall, and the black object behind him has disappeared. Continuity mistake: When Mitch is sitting on the bed in his hotel room talking to the camera, the cap from one of the pill bottles on the bedside table disappears from one shot to the next. (00:25:30)
