Revealing mistake: The Acheron fires many devastating blows on the Surprise and the effect is visible in close-ups and a wide shot. However, after Mr. Mowett yells, "Relieving-tackles on the tiller! You men collect the wounded!" there is another wide shot of the Acheron in the foreground and Surprise in the distance. In this shot Surprise has NO damage whatsoever! (00:11:00)
Revealing mistake: Near the end of the film when we see Rhodes shoot Larry in the chest, you can see an outline of something underneath his vest, very obviously a device/squib simulating being shot in the chest. (01:15:15)
Continuity mistake: During the fight in the outdoor market, Jackie Chan flips a table over with the ridged side facing upwards. In the next shot the ridged side is facing down.
Visible crew/equipment: When Ben is in the fish and chip shop and is calling Judith Lucy, when the camera pans by one of the chip heaters, a boom mic is visible bobbing around on the reflection of the glass at the top just below the silver bar. (01:05:25)
Continuity mistake: When Stifler has the "truffle" in his mouth, there is none over his teeth. Then there is loads all over his teeth instantly. (01:07:15)

Revealing mistake: When Frank is driving to get Henry there is an aerial shot of the car preforming a tight turn. However there are tyre marks from previous takes visible in the shot. (00:54:00)
Character mistake: The very advanced computer on the plane can't spell, since it infers probabilities that a member of the crew has been "INFECTETED" by the creature. (01:06:40)
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Buddy and Michael are leaving the school, a crew member is visible in the bottom left of the shot. At first, he is just standing there, but he then tries to hide inside a doorway. (00:52:00)
Continuity mistake: When a lighting rig bumps into a piece of wood, its front wheels and the wood are near the edge of a tile, but in the next shot, it is towards the center of it. (00:28:25)

Continuity mistake: When the Rock finally starts using guns, there is one shot where the three holes in his tee shirt are on the right side of his chest, because it is a flipped shot. The holes are on the left side of his chest in every other shot. (01:23:20 - 01:24:40)
Continuity mistake: After Signor Martini tries to find the snake in Frances' house he lights the stove with a match. He then places the match box on top of the stove with the long side of the box facing the camera. In the next several shots the box turns to the narrow side facing front and then back again. Continuity mistake: Look at the scene where Chanel and her mom are putting on face cream. In the wide shot, Chanel only has cream on her chin, cheeks and forehead. Her mom hasn't applied the cream. In the close-up (when her mom says that they might be moving to Paris), there's cream all over their faces.
