The camera shows her from behind when she walks in, and we can see that the front hair is tied back over the parting, also in the next shot when she sits at the table. When they are shot from Portman's side of the car, her hair is blowing and Sarandon's window is closed. But when shot from Sarandon's side, Portman's window is closed, her hair isn't blowing anymore and Sarandon's hair is blowing.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when Portia and Andrew are lying in their "beds," they are holding hands. In all of the far away shots, Andrew's hand is on top, but in the close shots, it is underneath. (01:59:20)

Continuity mistake: Approximately 9 minutes into the film there is a scene with 'Koop' talking to a customer in the record shop. The camera cuts back and forth between views from either side of the counter. Look carefully at the turntable on the counter and you will see that even while the turntable is not switched on, the deck is in different positions between camera cuts. This is easiest to notice by looking at the angle of the word 'deconstruction' on the blue slipmat. There is even one cut where the turntable's arm is sitting in the middle of the empty slipmat, and in the next cut (and the previous cut), it's on the armrest where it belongs.
Continuity mistake: When he sends her the invitation for the christening, she opens and reads it and its on her desk when her boss walks in. When he's in, she picks it up and opens it again.
Continuity mistake: When Joan first meets with her captains in Orleans, they argue. She walks away and La Hire calls her "a helluva woman". As she walks away, you can see him looking at her. Immediately, she turns back, and he is now looking at the other captains as she walks up to him and belts him. He must have turned his head very quickly, too quickly to be caught on film.
Continuity mistake: Early into the movie Andy is taking part in a meditation session. There is a wide shot of the whole group, which is seated in four concentric circles. Andy is sitting in the second circle, with two more circles behind him. Continuity mistake: In the scene in DC, when Kay is walking in the park and encounters Dutch on the bench, we see a man in a black shirt with red lettering walk by twice behind the shots over Dutch's shoulder. You can also see the man at a further distance in the background and then closer on the next shot.

I have the movie and during Del's execution, the hood is partially burned off. After he finally dies, his jaw is completely slack.
I also have the movie and can confirm that not only is Del's jaw slack but, when the hood is burned off it looks like most of his face has been burned off leaving nothing but a skull. Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sh3u3Kqdynw.
Suggested correction: Rigor mortis can occur as quickly as 2 hours after death. One of the first muscles of the body to stiffen is the jaw. It also depends on the age of the deceased and calcium amount.

Suggested correction: The guards would have done what they could to make his remains less grotesque. Closing his jaw is probably one of their regular duties.

Once the body dies, muscles can not constrict, and they relax. A guard could never close the jaw or mouth after death anymore than he could close a dead man's eyes shortly after death. That's a movie myth.
