Continuity mistake: In the final round, when Happy and Shooter McGavin are about to tee off on the first hole, they show a picture of the 18th green with the Volkswagen Beetle already crashed into the TV tower. Continuity mistake: When Uma Thurman visits the radio station for the first time, she asks Janeane Garofalo if she can sit down by the microphone. As she's standing in front of the desk she's wearing a cardigan with a handbag over her shoulder. When she turns round to say "you promise not to laugh?", the cardigan and bag have disappeared. Continuity mistake: When Sonic and Tails are fighting metal Robotnik, he shoots glue at Tail's tail. Tails says he can't fly to help Sonic, but when he gets the piece of concrete to surf across the water on you can see that his tails are not glued together.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, as Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn sing the song "You Don't Own Me," watch Goldie's shoes. For the first portion of the song, which takes place inside, she is wearing spiked-heel shoes with multiple straps. Then, as they dance through the doors onto the street, she is wearing shoes with a single strap and a much thicker heel.
Continuity mistake: When Jon Favreau talks on the phone for the first time, there is an answering machine next to it. Then when we see the phone system again the answering machine is gone. Then Jon walks into the next room and when he walks back the whole phone system is gone. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Ashtray is knocking at his father's door, his father answers the door with a chocolate bar that already has a bite taken out of it. When his father lets him and closes the door, the chocolate bar is still wrapped.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Claudia Karvan and someone else are sitting on stairs outside her flat talking you can clearly see the microphones at the top of the screen.
Continuity mistake: As paramedics inflate Jordan's assistant Stan Podolak following his lone bucket, the scoreboard shows the Monstars ahead 77-67 with 10 seconds remaining. Yet following his treatment and the surprise entrance of Bill Murray, the score has changed to 77-76 with no time having elapsed.
Continuity mistake: When they are in the Whitehouse, and Beavis has turned into Cornholio, he picks up the "Red" hotline phone on the President's desk, and is talking to the nuclear bomb officials. Continuity mistake: After he met the woman who helps them, Stephen Baldwin is wearing a shirt over his shoulders. In the very next cut, it is missing, but it reappears in the next cut.
Continuity mistake: When Jack is in his new classroom for the first time, he sits at a metal desk. He falls with the desk when he tries to reach his book bag, which is sitting next to a broken wooden desk. Next, he sits in the same - miraculously whole - wooden desk, then proceeds to break it to smithereens.
Suggested correction: Watched several times, he moves to the desk to the left of him that doesn't have a chair attached.
Continuity mistake: Coach Orion throws the puck at the bulletin board and makes a hole in it, but when he walks out of the locker room, the hole is gone.
Continuity mistake: The morning after the party at Steven's, Chip is at Steven's house making eggs for them, watch closely as Chip eats. While they are talking about Heather being a prostitute, Chip repeatedly loses the eggs off his fork, but continues to put the fork in his mouth, and makes a sound like he is actually eating the eggs. He does it about 4 or 5 times during their whole conversation. (00:50:35)
Continuity mistake: When Martin Lawrence is at the cleaner's, the shirts are off to the right of Adrian with the hunter green shirt on top. Then they are suddenly in front of her as Martin leaves the cleaner's, and the hunter green shirt is gone.
Continuity mistake: When Pinkett and Murphy are at that restaurant/comedy club and the guy with the dreadlocks is making fun of everybody (this is the second time they go to this place) when the show him from the front his hair is sticking straight up but when its from the back it's down.
Continuity mistake: When Michael Keaton is talking to his wife he picks up Froot Loops, then a second later he picks up Cheerios.
Continuity mistake: Jamie steals a gay magazine at a newsagent. Before he pinches a copy, there are three copies on the shelves. When he pinches it the number of copies on the shelf indeed changes from three into two, but when he leaves the shop, lo and behold, there are three copies on the shelf again. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin's girlfriends arrive right after Baldwin is smacked in the face with the encyclopedia, Baldwin is shown lying on the ground directly above his face, and off to the side. When the camera is off to the side, his braids are in his face, but when they are directly above him, his braids have been brushed away.
