Other mistake: During the scene where Charlie is watching the horror movie on TV and Viola sneaks up behind her wearing the costume with the long finger nails and scares her. They show a shot from Viola's point of view and you see Charlie sitting on the couch from the back, but the TV is not on.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie, when the mechanic is working on the car on the lift, he says he has to change the oil in it, the chassis drops to the ground, there is no engine attached to the chassis or body. In addition, he is changing the oil at the rear axle.

Not so - in an earlier scene she mentions how she's 'back at her parents' house' (while phoning the Chinese place). She lived there prior to being given a nice apartment by George as a perk of the job. After resigning, she moved back there. Therefore the goof is valid.
No, it's her parent's apartment. She says she is staying there, you see her there with her Dad in the morning, George says "thank goodness your parents went to the movies. We'd never have all squeezed in" and she's ordering Chinese food from the same place she ordered from when she said she was staying at her parents. George may not have gone in when they got the cake, or he might not have noticed the size.
Other mistake: In the opening scene, as the camera pans down on the ladies folding sweaters in Bloomingdales, the reflection in the window shows people across the street dressed in summer clothes. (00:01:25)
Other mistake: In the race scene between Milner and Falfa, you can see exhaust smoke coming from Milner's car, but in a previous scene the station attendant mentioned Milner taking the header plugs off. Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie where Baby Jim is talking about Treasure Planet, he crawls under the top sheet of his bed that has been folded half way up the bottom of the bed, and peeks out the bottom. That's fine and all but then his mother straightens out the sheet and covers him up. You then see that the part he just peeked out of was the folded part so he shouldn't have been able to peek out.
Other mistake: When they are in San Francisco, notice the pianist. The keys he presses don't correspond with the notes he's supposedly playing. It's a little bit obvious that the music was recorded in advance.
Other mistake: Towards the beginning of the film JJ (Burt Reynolds) lands his plane in a town to get more beer. You can clearly see the a large crowd of spectators in the background standing behind the wooden barriers which the police had set up for the filming.
Other mistake: The scenes that are supposedly located in St. Bart's have Chinaman's Hat in the background, which is a distinctive Hawaiian landmark.
Other mistake: When Chris and Jamie are sitting on Jamie's bed, Tim comes in and shoves Chris onto the floor. This is supposed to be when the yearbooks are switched, but if you watch closely you will notice that Tim leaves with the same yearbook he brought in. (00:03:50)
