Factual error: When the soldiers are in the woods looking for the wolf, they come across a group a deer that bolt between them and around them scared for their lives and spooked. The deer runs behind the soldiers and they look at each other wondering what happened. Then the giant wolf, Ralph, suddenly comes up from behind the soldiers and eats one. But the deer just ran towards the direction the wolf came from. Meaning the deer got scared, but chose to run towards the giant hungry mutant wolf.

Continuity mistake: Earlier in the film, when Sable is introduced he is shown wearing his watch on his left arm. But later, when they are sneaking around in Jerry's house, his watch is on his right arm. Then a few moments later as Sable is discovering the items in Jerry's basement, his watch is back on his left arm, indicating that the previous shot was flipped. (00:15:00 - 00:31:50)

Trivia: When the other guys ambush Jerry at the Deer Hall, he starts narrating to himself as things happen in flashes of slow motion. This is a direct spoof/reference to the 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie where RDJ's version of the character does this same thing as he analyzes a fight or sequences, predicting the outcome. (00:24:45)

Continuity mistake: When the counselor tells Sable that he seems to really be focused on other dicks, Sable's left hand is up on top of his head. It cuts to a side angle and suddenly his arm is down resting on the couch's arm rest. (00:15:20)

Continuity mistake: Sable is with a counselor discussing if his wife is cheating on him, and he has his hand resting against the side of his face. When the counselor is writing down his comment about riding dicks, it cuts to a close up of him and then his hand is almost on top of his head. (00:15:15)

Continuity mistake: While Bob is in an interview as Hoagie in disguise, there is a recording device on the table almost right at the edge. But after Bob says "let's talk about diabetes", the device moves a significant distance closer to the center of the table. (00:03:15)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the janitorial job interview in the beginning of the movie, Hoagie leans over and drops a can into the trash as the other guy watches his arm. Hoagie is fully leaned over in one shot, but when it cuts to a close up before he says he's already begun, he's instantly sitting up straight with his arm still extended out and the other guy is suddenly looking right at him instead of his hand. Bug: The Apocalypses/Mayhem: After defeating the first group of Angels, a Gatekeeper will rise from the ground and start stomping down the street. As you follow, a short cut scene happens where War loses his power at the sound of a horn blowing. Sometimes at that point, as the Gatekeeper passes some rubble a human will be stuck up in the air. Hovering and running around in circles just up in the sky.

Continuity mistake: When the boy, Lucas, asks Noah what kind of gun he has, Noah is holding a piece of paper in each hand. In the shot from over his shoulder, his right hand is elevated holding the paper a couple inches up from the table. When it cuts to a view of Noah from the front, his right hand is lowered almost touching the table. (00:13:35)

Audio problem: After Adam and Noah finish talking about Chester Hills, the movie shows a few shots of the desolate land and bad conditions. One shot is a close up of a decaying dead cow, and in this shot you hear the loud sounds of flies and bugs swarming it as you'd expect on a dead animal. However it is just the added sound effect as there is not one single fly or insect visible. (00:09:35)

Trivia: During the opening scene, some civilians are running towards a bus for cover. One of them gets mauled by a Minion Demon and lets out the familiar Wilhelm Scream.

Continuity mistake: Opening Cut Scene: When the civilians are gathering around a crater to see what the meteor was that just hit, one of them is a guy in a red hat who is wearing a vest or coat with long sleeves of a dark color. When the Trauma Demon emerges and turns towards them to roar, the red hat guy is seen starting to turn to run away in a panic. Only now he's wearing a blue hoodie with white sleeves.
