Audio problem: Right in the beginning, King Harkinian is walking about at night on the wall of his castle. He comments about the night air and how there is nothing like a good meal. During the last half of that, the shot changes to a side view as he walks to the edge and stops. His lips are not moving until he stops and you can see them move when he says the word Meal. Continuity mistake: After the President gets up the wall, Snake is waiting for the harness to be lowered down to him again. The Duke shoots at him and puts a line of bullet holes across the wall. In that shot, you see the holes are not close to any of the horizontal lines of the tiled wall. But in the shot where the harness is being lowered, you see the line of bullet holes is not only close to, but crossing one of the horizontal lines at an angle. (01:28:50)

Continuity mistake: As Snake makes it back up to the top of the World Trade Center, he sees Brain, Maggie, and the president in a fight with a gang of "Redskins". The Redskins cut the line on the Gulf Fire and it plummets to the ground. Maggie, Brain, and the President are hiding behind some air ducts and tubes. just before the shot cuts, the President pops his head up and looks around, making his head the highest of the 3. Maggie is holding her gun pointing up, and Brain is sitting still just looking at the President. It then cuts to an angle behind them. Suddenly the President is down on his hands and knees again, Maggie is holding her gun lower and sitting up straight, and Brain is leaning back looking like he is about to fall over. (01:19:35)

Race to the Spaceship/Sandbox Surprise - S3-E5

Revealing mistake: In the sequence where Pig is making a pizza with strange toppings, an ant caries a large bucket of popcorn up the counter. It is flush on its back with no top when on the floor, and the popcorn is bulging out. The ant turns 90 degrees and walks up the counter, and the popcorn thus turns on its side in the air. Not one piece of popcorn falls out or even shifts, despite the pile now pointing out rather than up.

Fruit Picking Day/Daniel Is Big Enough to Help Dad - S1-E11

Factual error: Daniel's dad glues and screws the door bell button to Daniel's treehouse. He does not connect any wires to it or anything of the sorts, nor is there a power source to the tree house. Yet he pushes the button and the bell rings loudly. It is too small to house batteries or a speaker on its own. And the bell was electronic sounding.

Trivia: You will notice in some scenes that Snake has a scar on his cheek, most notably when he is confronting Hauk about the explosives injected into his neck. Kurt Russell has a dimple there, and it was a wardrobe decision to place a scar on it because they didn't want Snake Plissken to look like he had a dimple. (00:23:55)

Trivia: Donald Pleasance made up a whole back story about how he, as a British man, was able to become president of the USA in this film, seeing as how only a nationally born citizen can be president. According to John Carpenter, the film's director, Donald's story had something to do with Margret Thatcher taking over the world and the US becoming a British Colony again. It was funny, and apparently well thought out, even as just a joke, but Carpenter didn't use any of it for the film. (00:11:30)

Trivia: At one point when the film crew was filming in Atlanta, the camera dolly broke down. So they put the camera on a baby carriage and used that to continue filming.

Trivia: When Lee Van Cleef was cast for the role of Bob Hauk, the director and Kurt Russell decided to draw on old Spaghetti Westerns for Snake. Looking at the dynamics between Lee Van Cleef and Clint Eastwood in those old movies, Kurt drew from that and modeled Snake Plissken after Clint Eastwood, especially his voice.

Trivia: The first time Kurt Russell saw this movie with an audience, he was in New York with his family. Try as he may, he couldn't convince the theater owner that he was in the movie, even though he is obviously the star film. So he wound up having to pay his and his 7 family members' way into the movie.

Question: John puts a grenade on a fork lift and wheels it over to the bold, shirtless, muscular guy shooting at them. It explodes big and almost water like. What kind of bomb/grenade was that? (01:21:10)

Plot hole: When John has Yuri pinned to the uranium boxes, Yuri reaches into his coat and turns on his walkie talkie so his daughter and minions can hear. John McClane doesn't notice and he is right there. There are two things wrong with this. We hear the beep the radio makes when it is turned on, and it was loud enough that John and Jack would have easily noticed. But even if they didn't hear it, there is another issue. John is a New York cop, or even a detective. As such, he would have extensive training for dealing with armed men, and he would have noticed Yuri reaching into his coat. Even if he didn't hear the radio beep, he would have stopped Yuri's hand or done something, assuming Yuri was reaching for a gun. (01:18:15)

Continuity mistake: Just after John asks Jack if he is "gonna cry a little" before he pulls the bolt out of him, Jack leans his head back. The next shot, Jack's head is down. Throughout this scene, his head keeps changing position between shots. Also noticable right after John says "You shot?" (00:58:25)

Other mistake: When John and Jack are in the ball room, the chopper circles back and begins shooting through the building at them. It is shooting into the far right window straight forward. John and Jack get up and take off running. As they do, you can see the bullets' line of fire moving with them through the building as the chopper tries to hit them. But it cuts to an outside view and the chopper has not moved or turned yet from that spot, nor are the guns turning. It is visibly still shooting forward at the same spot. The line of fire follows Jack and John some more, but the outside view shows the chopper just then start moving to begin following their movement. (00:52:40)
