Visible crew/equipment: At the amusement park, when Johnny, Roy, and Gil climb up to the ride that is stuck, the outlines of the mic transmitters and wires are visible on the backs of Johnny's and Gil's shirts during the rescue.

Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny find the two puncture marks, from the snakebite, on the unconscious man's leg, the outlines of the lav mic transmitter and its cable are visible on the back, left side of Johnny's shirt. It's also visible on the back of Roy's shirt after he is hit with the cobra venom, and on the back of Gil's shirt when he brings in the defibrillator.

Visible crew/equipment: After Johnny and Roy arrive at the amusement park where the boy was injured on the go-kart, when the guy who runs the go-kart track walks over to Roy and Johnny, the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the back of his shirt, and moments later it's also visible on the left side of Johnny's shirt. Also, when the guys scare the second boy with the huge needle, as he runs away the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the back of the boy's vest.
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny, Roy, and Chet are removing the woman from her car, the bulging outlines of the mic transmitters and wires are visible on the back, left side of Johnny's shirt, and back, right side of Roy's shirt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are with the boy who bit the dog, as they kneel down to get the hiding dog, the outlines of the mic transmitter and cable wire are visible on the right side of Johnny's shirt.
Visible crew/equipment: On scene at the fire caused by gasoline stored near a boiler, when Johnny and Roy are with the burn victim, the outlines of the lav mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back, left side of Johnny's shirt.

Visible crew/equipment: After Chet suggests to Johnny and Roy that they trade vehicles, as the camera pans out the reflections of crew and equipment are visible in the two hubcaps of Roy's car.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Chet find the unconscious boy in the camper, and Roy tends to the young boy, the outlines of the mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back, right side of Roy's shirt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are tending to the man with possible paralysis, who is lying on the ground, the bulging outlines of the lavalier mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back, left side of Johnny's shirt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Brackett walks into the adjoining treatment room to talk to Pete about his pregnant wife, and tells him to sit, the legs (wearing jeans) of the cameraman/crew member are reflected on the chrome of the gurney, as he walks forward when the camera dollies in for a closeup.
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny, Roy, and the two ambulance attendants lay the injured pregnant woman onto the stretcher, two crew members' hands and a foot become visible as the camera pans too far to the right.
Visible crew/equipment: At the home of the pregnant woman who was shot, the only ones there with Dora are Pete, Roy, Johnny and Vince. When the two ambulance attendants bring in the stretcher, a crew member's entire right arm (wearing short, white sleeve with pinstripes) comes into view on the right side of the screen, as the camera pans back.
Daisy's Pick Blind Date - S4-E7
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are with the hypothermic refrigeration engineer, the outlines of the mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back, left side of Johnny's shirt. Note that when Johnny and Roy are in the ambulance with the patient, Johnny is not wearing the lavalier transmitter and wire anymore.
Visible crew/equipment: When Engine 51 arrives at the toy factory fire and comes to a full stop, we see the hunched over cameraman holding a handheld camera, with another crew member standing right behind him, and just as Captain Stanley opens the door and emerges, we see the cameraman being helped up and both men turning and moving quickly to their left, as Captain Stanley jumps off the engine.
Other mistake: When the deaf woman is delivering a baby, the subtitles read that Johnny is saying, "The head is rotating," when in fact it's Roy saying that. Subtitles from Universal Studios 2010 DVD.
Visible crew/equipment: When Art, The Screenwriter, goes on his first ride-along with Squad 51, just as Art rambles on about the fire truck on its mission of mercy going 80 miles an hour, two shadows of mic/camera equipment are visible on the left and right side of Squad 51's hood. What's amusing is that a moment prior to this, Art actually says that they could mount a camera right on the hood of the truck, when they make the film about paramedics.
Visible crew/equipment: When the Animal Control guy and the officer are in the grocery store, a few shots after the tiger jumps over the counter, the hand of a crew member (presumably the tiger's trainer) is visible behind the boxes holding a piece of food, as the tiger walks toward it (away from the camera).

Other mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched to "man needs assistance", in the exterior shot as the squad rolls out of the apparatus bay we can see Engine 51 still inside the bay, but the real Station 127's engine is parked right beside the station house.
Answer: It is standard practice to wet down driveways so that they stand out in a long shot.
