Paper Work - S6-E11

Other mistake: After 51 rescues the boy who was stuck in the storm drain and is brought to the ER, Brackett uses the laryngoscope for endotracheal intubation, but the problem is we can see when Brackett cups his left hand, he merely places the distal end of the laryngoscope over the top of his hand, not actually down into the boy's mouth.

Other mistake: When the foreman and secretary are rescued at the warehouse fire, two shots after we see the foreman climbing down the ladder, there's a shot of the grey steel drums marked 'acetone' with two lying on their sides on a wood pallet, while the guys hose down the fire. What's funny is that in the next shot there's a disposable plastic cup that has suddenly appeared on that pallet. Obviously while shooting the different takes one of the actors or crew members left their cup on the pallet before they resumed filming.

Other mistake: When the little boy is stuck in the storm drain with the rushing water from the broken hydrant, Johnny climbs into the manhole and is submerged up to his shoulders in water while dealing with the boy, but when they lift the boy out and lay him on the grass, Johnny is quite dry except for some wet patches on his shirt.

The Mouse - S4-E20

Revealing mistake: At the apartment complex fire, after Johnny is knocked unconscious by the explosion, when the Pasadena fireman finds him and has to lift him up, it's funny how even though Johnny's unconscious we can see that he actually helps to stand himself up, so the fireman can lift him up and carry him out.

The Game - S6-E1

Trivia: It's in this episode that the Heimlich Maneuver is used for the first time by the paramedics. At the USC game, when a guy is choking on a hot dog, John and Roy are called, and John uses the Heimlich. Up until season 6 we've seen the guys use other methods, such as the ChokeSaver which look like huge white tweezers, to remove obstructions in an airway, as seen in 4x9, "Foreign Trade."
