The Phoenix Saga (5): Child of Light - S3-E7

Continuity mistake: When Phoenix is telling everyone that the crystal has been sealed, Wolverine's lower half has been miscolored. His trunks and boots should be blue, but have been colored yellow, and his legs should be colored yellow, but are flesh-colored. He's also wearing his mask in this shot, but in the next shot he is not wearing it. (00:17:42)

Savage Land, Strange Heart (1) - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the episode, Sauron can be seen wearing the necklace of Garokk. Not only is he not wearing the necklace a few shots later, but he isn't even supposed to have the necklace until a few minutes later in the episode when Zaladane gives it to him after he reverts to his human form. Savage Land, Strange Heart (1) - S3-E8

Audio problem: When Sauron says "Ka-Zar, I warned you!", Ka-Zar is actually the one mouthing the line. Note: this mistake may only apply to the DVD version of the episode. Sauron is the one mouthing the line in the Disney+ version of the episode. (00:02:40)

Savage Land, Strange Heart (1) - S3-E8

Revealing mistake: When Zaladane is helping Sauron escape, she uses her staff to reveal a hidden stairway in the floor. As Sauron descends the steps, the opening fades back into resembling the floor to suggest it is being hidden again, but Sauron fades away as well. It should be that Sauron walks out of view, and then the opening fades back into the floor. (00:02:56)

Show generally

Question: Does anyone know why Gambit was featured less and less in episodes as the show went on? He was one of the most popular characters in not just X-Men, but all of Marvel Comics around the time this series first aired, so unless it had something to do with his voice actor's contract, it seems odd they wouldn't have utilized him more.

Answer: Chris Potter, the original Gambit voice actor, did indeed quit the role in the 4th season. His last episode was The Phalanx Covenant Part 1 so it seems reasonable that Fox would limit the use of the character even though it was recast. It doesn't appear that Potter left the role due to animosity, he stated in an interview that he wished to play Gambit in the first live action X-Men film.
