Plot hole: They exchange Scylla for the life of the general's daughter. If they counted on him valuing his daughter over Scylla, which he did, they wouldn't have had to steal the cards or break into the vault in the first place. Just kidnap the daughter like they did, tell the general to gather the cardholders and hand over the cards, give them Scylla and let them out.
Trivia: S4E11: (spoiler) The Scylla alarm on the General's computer is visible on screen for a second or two. Below the flashing word 'alarm', it says it is in section AA-23. That's also the designation of the prison block where Princess Leia is being held in Star Wars. This was certainly done intentionally, but is also easy to miss.
