Continuity mistake: When Gideon, Morgan, Reid and Greenaway are watching Hotch interrogating the suspect Tony Canardo there is a box on the table, then Hotch gets up and walks out of the room and the box on the table is gone. In the next shot on the TV the box has reappeared. (00:30:08)
Other mistake: The age of the deceased Raymond Leu (35) shown in a death certificate doesn't match up based on year of birth (1948) and year of death (2014).
Other mistake: In the opening scene, the UnSub is wearing breathing apparatus, however his smoke hood is under his face mask. Wearing the hood under the mask would make it impossible to get a face seal, and as such would let smoke into the mask.
Character mistake: Unsub calls his victim Marcy, her real name, as opposed to Rose who he believes she is.
Factual error: They were talking about serial killers having kids on the plane at the end. Hotel said, Manson had 10 or 11 children. Charles Manson only had 3 sons.
Other mistake: Evergreen State University in Olympia Washington should be The Evergreen State College (they aren't a university). The transcript for Evergreen (assuming they meant the real college) is also wrong in every way: -They said the guy Ivan was expelled, but the transcript lists a B.A. awarded in June of 1968? - Evergreen has always used a narrative evaluation so there are no grades. There shouldn't be numbers or averages. -There are no majors - you get a B.A. or a B.S. -They don't have classic course names like "Philosophy 101" or "History." -The school was founded in 1967 - he couldn't have taken those classes that are listed from 1964 - 1967. Character mistake: When Blake is telling Spencer to keep his eyes on her after being shot she calls him Ethan twice. (00:02:29)
Suggested correction: This is very poignant and deliberate moments in the dialogue. Blake is feeling distraught since Reid pushed Blake out of the way and took the bullet instead of her. Blake calls Reid by her dead son's name, "Ethan," when she tries to keep him alert and shouts, "Ethan, Ethan!" Later in the episode, when Blake takes Reid back to his apartment, she explains that watching Reid when he was hurt touched a nerve. Reid then asks Blake, "Who's Ethan?" and Blake tells Reid all about her son "Ethan" who died when he was 9 years old. Blake then tells Reid that "Ethan" would have been a lot like him. Note, on the jet return flight, Blake texted Hotch her resignation from the BAU, and at the very end she leaves her badge with Reid.
Character mistake: Dr. Reid calls Penelope "Kristy" on a phone call.
Suggested correction: He calls her "Garcia."
