Other mistake: Evergreen State University in Olympia Washington should be The Evergreen State College (they aren't a university). The transcript for Evergreen (assuming they meant the real college) is also wrong in every way: -They said the guy Ivan was expelled, but the transcript lists a B.A. awarded in June of 1968? - Evergreen has always used a narrative evaluation so there are no grades. There shouldn't be numbers or averages. -There are no majors - you get a B.A. or a B.S. -They don't have classic course names like "Philosophy 101" or "History." -The school was founded in 1967 - he couldn't have taken those classes that are listed from 1964 - 1967. Visible crew/equipment: After Prentiss and Morgan catch Eric and his girlfriend in the park it cuts to Prentiss and the girlfriend in the interrogation room, and as the camera tracks backward from the door's window we can see a nice reflection of the moving camera and also a crew member standing behind Hotchner.
Continuity mistake: When Rossi is in Zoe's bedroom the camera pans the room and we see the laptop on the desk with nothing on its lid, but in the closeup suddenly there's a large embroidered flower sticker on the laptop's lid, which vanishes again when Rossi lifts the lid.
Demonology - S4-E17
Other mistake: Prentiss pulls up to a bar and the shot shows her looking out of the car window. "BAR" is shown reflected in red on the car window, but it is readable from left to right under the closeup of Prentiss's face when we see her. The reflection of "BAR" should have been backwards since it's a reflection of the sign on the building.
Audio problem: When Garcia is talking about the cross-examination she's done and how she should be praised for how quickly she'd done it, she crosses the room away from the computers (and the webcam she's shown through) to a bulletin board. While she's walking away, her voice gets fainter, and then becomes louder again when she returns, as though she were getting further and then closer again to a microphone. However, she is wearing a headset with a microphone - the volume wouldn't have changed. (00:13:15)
Visible crew/equipment: After the press conference, while Emily, Rossi, and Derek are standing beside the SUV, when Captain Lancaster walks over to them we can see the four chalk T-marks on the ground where they all stand.
Other mistake: When Morgan calls Garcia to have her search for Vincent, Prentiss jumps in saying he is a mentor. However Morgan had just learned this and didn't mention it on the call.
Continuity mistake: While George Foyet is stabbing Agent Hotchner, the knife is extending from the handle. The blood is at the top of the blade, and as he removes it, the blood moves to the bottom of the blade, while the top remains clean.
Revealing mistake: When showing the corpse's neck where the puncture marks are, you can see her pulse. (00:16:38)
Plot hole: In the scene where The Reaper/George Foyet calls Haley from Marshall Kassmeyer's home he identifies himself as Victor Collins from the Marshall Service. Later in the episode Hotch calls Haley and tells her he needs Jack working the case. Jack comes to the phone and asks him "Is George a bad guy?" Until Hotch called Haley she didn't know Foyet was not a US Marshall named Victor Collins.
Suggested correction: He didn't say George.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the unsub is having a tea party with her "dolls", look at the diabetic woman's right hand when the unsub is pouring her tea. When the tea is being poured the doll's right hand is palm up. When the camera cuts to a close up of the cup the doll's hand is face down. The doll is paralyzed due to the drugs and had not regained control of her body yet, making it impossible for her to move the hand on her own.
Continuity mistake: At the end a shot is shown of the FBI airplane in mid air. The airplane shown is a Gulf Stream V; which has a very distinctive nose. After the scene inside the airplane; another shot is shown of the plane's exterior, however all of a sudden they fly a Gulf Stream 100, which is a significantly larger plane and a very different design. Mosley Lane - S5-E16
Character mistake: Reid tells Mrs. Hillridge that he's been working for the BAU about five and a half years, which is roughly since the pilot aired in 2005. But flashbacks in "Tabula Rasa" show that Reid was a relatively new rookie in 2004, which is roughly six years. Considering Reid has an eidetic memory, the six-month discrepancy is a bit suspicious.
Factual error: They were talking about serial killers having kids on the plane at the end. Hotel said, Manson had 10 or 11 children. Charles Manson only had 3 sons.
Exit Wounds - S5-E21
Factual error: The BAU is called in to assist the Sheriff's Dept. in Franklin, Alaska (a made-up town, although there is a ghost town by that name). By statute, Alaska has never had any Sheriffs. Functions filled by sheriffs elsewhere fall mostly under the auspices of the Alaska State Troopers. Other law enforcement is by community or (rarely) borough which is what Alaska has instead of counties.
Other mistake: JJ calls Hotch unsure if she can make direct contact with the unsub, fearing that she will make a mistake. Hotch tells her she will do fine and tells her that they are gathering background information about Flynn, who is the unsub. At this point the team have not yet figured out the identity of the unsub and Hotch should not know his name. (00:27:35)
Character mistake: When Reid and Rossi propose the theory that Kate knew Syd and Jimmy before her disappearance, and JJ expresses her skepticism, Rossi retorts "they're handsome, charming, 19." But while reviewing the case on the flight to Maryland, JJ mentions that the boys are both 20.
Continuity mistake: While Morgan and Prentiss are at the crime scene talking to the homeless man, when Morgan moves the tent and finds the text written on the wall, the homeless man smudges the text with his fingers, but when Morgan sends a photo of the evidence the smudges and text differ.
What Happens at Home... - S6-E10
Character mistake: After the murder that takes place while the team is at the church meeting, they gather together to talk about narrowing down the suspect list to the people who didn't show up to the meeting. Spencer shows up with a stack of papers and says 18 suspects didn't show up. We then see his actor break character and almost laughs when he looks over at Ashley, whose actress too almost breaks character from laughing.
