Desperate Housewives

Guilty - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: When Bree, Susan and Lynette are scrubbing the road, a red sports car zooms past them. Lynette stands, hurls abuse and throws her scrubbing brush at the car which can be seen bouncing off the car and down the road. She then kneels down and continues to scrub with the brush.

Pilot - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: When Bree is watering the flowers in the bathroom at the hospital, a shadow of the cameraman is visible behind her.

Suspicious Minds - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Bree gets out of the golf cart to see Rex on the field, she is carrying a pot of urine in her left hand, but in the next shot, of her upper torso and face, her left hand is clutching the strap of her handbag and the pot is now in her right hand.

Guilty - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: As Susan tries to get the dog to help the second time you can see the towel Susan tried to use to get the dog to help her. The shot then shows Susan and the towel has disappeared. After a quick shot of the dog it cuts back to Susan and the towel has reappeared.

Anything You Can Do - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: When Bree sees the presents that Rex has bought for the children, she walks up to the car. As she stops walking you can see her hair particularly on her left side is being blown gently by the wind and continues to be blown through most of the shot. In the following shot her hair is now sitting perfectly without any wind blowing it.

Who's that Woman? - S1-E4

Revealing mistake: In the episode where Teri Hatcher's character is in the supermarket, as you see her place her two items, a carton of OJ and a carton of eggs, listen closely. The items are empty -- quite obviously so. (00:17:45)

Pilot - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Season 1, episode 1 (Pilot): While Gaby and Carlos are arguing in their house, we can see a sofa and some other items in a semi-circular alcove with five tall windows on the far wall of the front room, and a painting near the stairs. A minute later, Carlos leaves and Gaby is alone with John, and the room has changed drastically. The alcove is now a flat wall with two windows and a fireplace. The sofa and some other things are missing and the painting moved to above the fireplace. This inconsistency exists because after the pilot was filmed, the set was redesigned and the part of John Rowland was recast. The scenes with John were reshot after the redesign took place, but the majority of this episode, including the first half of this scene (the argument), used the original footage. (00:17:30)

Suspicious Minds - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Lynette sits down next to Claire on the bench at the park, Claire is wiping her hands with a tissue. Claire is not wiping her hands in the next shot, but in the shot after that, she is.

Every Day a Little Death - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Edie throws the urn of ashes at Susan after she discovered Susan burned her house down, you can see that there is nothing on Edie's left shoulder, but when the camera angle changes to behind Edie in the next shot, her shoulder is now covered by her cardigan.

Suspicious Minds - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Lynette introduces herself to Claire at the park, the strap on her handbag is on her shoulder. When the camera angle changes to behind Lynette in the next shot, the strap has gone, and in the shot after that, it is back again.

Suspicious Minds - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Zach is in Julie's bedroom, he says to her, "And they buried her, to protect me" and you can see that Zach has his hand on his cheek. When the camera angle changes to behind Zach in the next shot, he no longer does.

Silly People - S2-E14

Carlos: You know who you are, Gaby? You're the kind of person who would have turned away Mary and Joseph from the inn.
Gabrielle: Well, they should have called ahead.

Question: Where did Kayla go? When did they get rid of her and where did she go? And which episode is it?

Answer: Kayla was sent away in episode 16 (The Gun Song) in season 4, after falsely accusing Lynette of child abuse. She now lives with her grandparents - probably Nora's parents.

I'm curious why we never see her again, why she never talked about, and why Tom never mentions visiting her.
