The Andy Griffith Show

The New Housekeeper - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: While Andy's in Opie's bedroom when Opie's thinking about running away, the moving shadow of the overhead boom mic can be seen, first on the wall behind Opie's headboard and then on the door. Also note, when Andy shows Aunt Bee how to hold the baseball bat and moves her into position, we can see a long white tape mark on the grass (since it's possible that Andy placed the tape, however unlikely, it's being noted here).

The Guitar Player - S1-E3

Visible crew/equipment: While Andy and Barney are standing beside Bobby Fleet's vehicle, Andy mentions that it's too bad they're all not staying overnight so they could hear Jim play, and when it cuts to the next shot the reflection of the overhead boom pole and mic can be seen moving on the surface of the vehicle.

Runaway Kid - S1-E4

Visible crew/equipment: After Andy talks to George's father on the phone, he gets up and stands near the fireplace while explaining to Opie why he broke his promise and called George's father, and when Opie's on the couch asking if he can run off sometime, we can see the white tape mark on the rug where Andy was standing moments ago.

Stranger In Town - S1-E11

Visible crew/equipment: While Barney's in the barber chair, Floyd starts talking about how he'd tried living at the back of the barber shop, and when the shot faces Barney we can see the reflection of a crew member's legs moving around - the only ones in the shop are Barney, Floyd, and the two men seated by the corner.

Those Gossipin' Men - S1-E15

Visible crew/equipment: When the men have the misconception that Wilbur is a TV show talent scout, while they're at the barber shop talking about it, just as Floyd moves his legs to get up from the barber chair we can see the white T-mark at Jason's feet.

Andy and the Gentleman Crook - S1-E21

A Plaque for Mayberry - S1-E25

Visible crew/equipment: While everyone's waiting for Otis to arrive at the plaque presentation in Mayor Pike's office, after Andy admits to the mayor that he asked the real Otis to show up, it cuts to the mayor walking behind his desk, and we can see the chalk T-mark on the floor where Mrs. Bixby stands.

Taylors in Hollywood - S6-E8

Revealing mistake: While Andy, Aunt Bee, and Opie are at the Hollywood studio watching a scene being filmed, when Andy mistakenly stands up and interrupts the filming we can see the wall and shelves behind the director, and it should look familiar because it's the wall and shelves from Floyd's shop in Mayberry.

Opie's Group - S8-E9

Andy: Clara, sometimes a parent can't see what he should do, and sometimes it takes a person from the outside to show him. And I'd like to thank you.
Clara: Groovy.

The Darling Baby - S5-E12

Question: Why is it when they were on the show the Darling sons never spoke? Would they be paid more if they did, or was this some sort of joke?

Rob245

Answer: It was a joke. They were supposed to be dumb hillbillies.

Both. According to later interviews with both Andy and the Dillards band (the real name of the band that played the parts of the Darling children, of which Charlene (Maggie Peterson - Mancuso was also a member) the reason the Darling boys never had any lines was because they would've had to have been paid if they spoke. In return for appearing without lines or pay, Andy promised to get as much of their music onto the show as possible which, he did. This obviously gave them a lot of exposure.
