Other mistake: In Season 5 the majority of the gods are trying to kill Xena, Eve and Gabrielle. However, what happened to the gods that didn't intervene, like Demeter, Hestia or Cupid? We don't hear about them again, but they weren't killed, so what happened?

Continuity mistake: When Amarice shows Joxer that Xena and Gabby are dead, Joxer immediately puts his right hand up to his mouth in anguish. The shot changes and instantly his left hand is over his mouth. (00:01:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gabrielle and Joxer are lining up the rockets, Gabrielle takes on a whole bunch of troops and she has armlets on matching her chin outfit, but when it cuts to Renee's stunt double, she doesn't have on the armlets. And it is like that throughout the whole scene.
Factual error: When ares says "In my brothers realm i have no power" What he should say is "In my uncles realm I have no power", as Hades is the uncle of Ares, not his brother.

Plot hole: Ares stops Xena from 'committing suicide' by sword on the beach after the chariot crash, before she drinks 'poison'. How did Xena know that Ares would stop her from 'killing herself,' thereby allowing her to drink the 'poison' when she obviously hadn't revealed any of her plan to him and she didn't believe that he was in love with her? Continuity mistake: When Athena falls on the ground after mortally wounded, she was not holding her wound. When her body was shown again, she is.
