Continuity mistake: This can only be seen for a few frames, so slow motion may be needed. Tommy reveals himself as the White Ranger by unclipping his helmet; however, his ponytail is already visible. Tommy's hair should have been inside his suit/helmet if he had just unclipped it. From behind shots, it is tucked in.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (1993)
1 continuity mistake in White Light (2)
Starring: Richard Steven Horvitz, David Yost, David Fielding, Paul Schrier
Genres: Action, Adventure, Family, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Thriller
Continuity mistake: When the Villains send their cronies (for example, Putties, Tengu Warriors, Cogs, Piranhatrons, etc.), their numbers constantly change from when they arrive, to when they leave. This is due to the use of Japanese footage used from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.
Trivia: Portions of every episode are from a Japanese version of the show. Almost every episode in series 1 was two thirds Japanese footage, just voiced over. Saban used this Japanese footage to save on filming its own.
Question: Why do Power Rangers series reuse original Sentai fight footages instead of filming new footage?

Answer: Probably to save on costs of filming the same scene. In the reused shots they have always morphed so you can't see the actors. They just have to pay them to do voice-overs rather than the entire scene.
