Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

Season 1 generally

Deliberate mistake: In fight scenes, the Yellow Ranger's stature matches that of a male (and not Trini). This is because in the Japanese version of the show, the Yellow Ranger was played by a man.

A Monster of Global Proportions - S2-E25

Deliberate mistake: A few deliberate mistakes here. It was around this time that 3 of the actors on the show (Austin St. John, Walter Jones, and Thuy Trang; who played Jason, Zack, and Trini) walked out over pay issues. So, to work around this until replacement rangers could be found, Saban used old footage of the 3 that walked out. The mistakes are as follows: 1) Tommy is shown to be wearing green. The Rangers wore clothes that matched the colour of their powers - Tommy was now the White Ranger (and should be wearing White clothing), as the Green Ranger powers had been destroyed. 2) Zack's hair changed from dreads, to his flat cut. This had an instant effect on Kimberley and Tommy's hair (again, due to the old footage), which had gotten noticeably longer as the series progressed. 3) Jason, Zack, and Trini's voices were different when they were morphed - obviously, they were voice sound-a-likes.

Green With Evil (1): Out of Control - S1-E17

Continuity mistake: Up until Green No More in Series 2 (where the Green Ranger powers are destroyed), the Green Ranger's overshield constantly changes between solid-looking metal to flimsy-looking cotton. This is the most obvious difference between the Japanese and US footage.

Trivia: Tommy has been more colours than any other Ranger. He has been the Green, White, Red, and Black Ranger.

Question: How many different Power Ranger TV shows/movies have there been? To my knowledge, I know of at least 7 different series, but I think there is more. How do they all connect?

Answer: According to the IMDB, there are currently 10 different series (with an 11th premiering in 2006). And, as far as I can tell, there have been only two theatrically released movies. All of the series, with the exception of the first one (that premiered back in '93) are spin-offs of the original, and they all share similar plot lines, characters, etc.
