Trivia: When Mr. Bean moves the marching band across in front of the manger, the military music he hums was also used as the theme song of Blackadder Goes Forth (in which Rowan Atkinson also stars).
Trivia: They use the theme music from the TV show The Vicar of Dibley when Mr Bean gets in to a car with the golf ball.
The Trouble With Mr. Bean - S1-E8
Trivia: Up until this episode we have never seen the driver of the blue Reliant that's always had the misfortune of running into Mr. Bean. In this episode that same car is parked in front of the dentist office which is then pushed back by Bean's car. It is possible then that the unseen driver could either be the woman with small child or the patient who leaves just before Bean meets the dentist.
Chosen answer: I'm guessing it is because he bought a new car. At the end of the first Bean, he crashed the mini. You hear the crash and see his wheel bouncing down the road. Safe to assume it was a write-off.
