Blind Ambition - S4-E3

Corrected entry: When Peter enters Chris' room and accidentally thinks Chris is Lois, he quickly stands up and tries to change the mood by asking Chris questions, one of which is, "Did you do your homework today?" Chris nods his head yes, and Peter comprehends, despite the fact that he is blind.

Correction: He doesn't comprehend. He just gives a response to whatever answer Chris would have given, since he can assume that Chris would've given him an answer. Peter is just saying anything to get out the room, and the timing of Peter's response to Chris' nod can be explained by the fact that Peter knows the pace of a conversation.

Gary O'Reilly

Correction: There are several possible explanations to this, the most likely one that the teacher had simply switched schools. Maybe he got a new job, or maybe he was a substitute who filled different positions at different times.

Twotall

Correction: This is a very common technique used in animation to save the animators time and effort. It can't really be classified as a mistake.

Grumpy Scot

Jungle Love - S4-E13

Corrected entry: Stewie goes to the airport after seeing a bad film; he puts his shoes through the tray and walks through the detector. He keeps walking and doesn't pick up his shoes but moments later on the plane, they are back on.

Correction: It's not moments later; you don't board the plane immediately after going through the security checkpoint. Stewie obviously realized that he was missing his shoes and went back to get them, in the time that passed while he was waiting to board the plane.

Brian Goes Back to College - S4-E15

Corrected entry: If you look at the handicapped teacher in the wheelchair, you can see that the keyboard on his wheelchair's arm only has four rows of five buttons, making twenty in all - not enough for every letter of the alphabet.

Correction: Maybe there are only twenty or so keys to save space. On many PDA keyboards there are special buttons you can hold (i.e. Ctrl, Alt) that allow you to access another keyboard (maybe there are 2 symbols on each key). A full size keyboard would take up a lot of space on a wheel chair.

Correction: This is a character mistake at best. Peter's father is a bit more extreme than most (after all he has called the Pope "soft") and since he's in a hurry to Get Stewie baptized he makes a mistake. Besides a baptizing done by a layperson would usually require that a priest performs a conditional baptizing at a later point, so even if he did it wrong it would still be valid if the intention was to have it redone by a priest later.

Model Misbehavior - S4-E10

Corrected entry: In this episode, Lois is a model. Throughout the whole series, she has short hair but in this one, she has it up in a ponytail. Her hair isn't long enough for the hairstyle shown at the party.

Correction: She could have been wearing hair extensions.

MasterOfAll

Perfect Castaway - S4-E12

Corrected entry: In the scene where Brian and Lois are talking in the bedroom, you can see that they both sleep in two separate beds. However, in a different scene when Lois is riding on top of Peter in the bedroom, you can see there is only one double bed inside the room.

Correction: While married, Lois and Brian sleep in separate beds, which were specifically acquired for the purpose. When Lois is married to Peter, they share a bed. There's no telling how much time passes between shots and it's not that hard to move some furniture around.

Phixius

Blind Ambition - S4-E3

Corrected entry: The sheet of toilet paper change numbers when Lois tears them off to put on the seat (right before she sees Quagmire peeping on her). She tears off three sheets, but they change to four when she puts them on the seat. (This happens on both sides of the seat).

Nick Bylsma

Correction: Louis tears off 3 sheets and puts them along the back. All other sheets she tears are of 4.

Ssiscool

Correction: How is that a mistake? There is no law or rule that the number of candles on a cake must match the age of the birthday reciepent.

Lummie

Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

When You Wish Upon a Weinstein - S3-E22

Peter Griffin: You better watch who you're calling a child Lois. Because if I'm a child then you know what that makes you? A paedophile, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand here and be lectured by a pervert.

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
