Three's Company

Chrissy, Come Home - S2-E23

Continuity mistake: During the kitchen scene when Janet is eating the egg salad sandwich, her yellow napkin is tucked in her blouse and then disappears. She then tucks another yellow napkin into her blouse.

Strange Bedfellows - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Roper tries to explain to the girls and his wife what he was doing in Jack's bedroom, watch over Mr. Roper's left shoulder on the shelf. The number of yellow cans on the shelf keep alternating between one and two cans throughout several minutes.

Three's Christmas - S2-E14

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Roper does the card trick. Mrs. Roper says it's the 2 of clubs. We see it is. A second later we can see for a second it's a face card.

The Money Machine - S8-E3

Visible crew/equipment: Near the start of the show, money comes out of the ATM by error. You can see the money waiting in the slot and the crewmember's hand pushing the money out sporadically. It also comes out sideways sometimes, sometimes not and out of different parts of the slot.

Janet's Secret - S5-E12

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Janet's father hands Jack the gift a microphone appears for a second at the top of the screen. (00:03:15)

Chrissy's Cousin - S5-E7

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Maxine comes out of the bathroom and yells "Jack" a microphone appears for a second at the top of the screen. (00:25:05)

Diamond Jack - S7-E3

Revealing mistake: As Terri exits Jack's bedroom to stall the diamond thieves, you can momentarily see into the girls' bedroom. The wall that should be between the girls' bedroom and Jack's bedroom is missing and the floor and blue curtains of Jack's bedroom set are visible. Someone's arm wearing a light colored shirt (John Ritter's sleeve is brown and Joyce DeWitt's sleeve is black) can also be seen moving. (00:25:00)

A Man About the House - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Jack is introduced to Mr. Roper for the first time, the girls just say he's their landlord (no name given yet), however after Jack's talk in the kitchen with Chrissy (in which still no landlord name given), Jack storms out and starts out shouting "Look here Mr. Roper..." He still should not have known the landlord's name at this point.

Show generally

Continuity mistake: The kitchen changes from episode to episode, when viewed from the living room. If the set is going to be used the full kitchen is visible when viewed. But if it is not being used, often the set is pushed closer together. This is most evident when an actor is coming out of the kitchen the stove and the attached cupboards are practically at the door, providing just a bit of space for the actor to stand before making their entrance. Other times a wall is simply pushed up beside the door with the kitchen wall paper on it to appear to have continuity. This is only seen when the shot allows the kitchen set to be obscured.

Double Trouble - S5-E19

Continuity mistake: When Furley enters the apartment at the start of the party, the outside weather is crystal clear. Less than 2 minutes later, Furley tells "Austin" the fog is very heavy and the airport is closed down. Then upon opening the front door, tons of thick fog is all over outside. While fog can roll in very quickly, how could Furley even bring up the fog in the first place when it was not there at all when he walked in?

The Crush - S3-E10

Plot hole: Janet and Chrissy accuse Jack of making the fake BBQ telegram. However, Jack was at the apartment the whole time, never left once until after he found out Lori was the one who made the telegram. If it was Jack who made the fake telegram, he would have had to leave the apartment to do that.

Grandma Jack - S8-E7

Other mistake: Larry entered Jack as "Grandma Tripper" to win the contest since the contest was only open to women. However, since Larry admits he didn't know there would be a bake-off and thought a winning check would just be mailed, then there's no reason to of entered Jack as "Grandma." He easily could have just entered Janet or Terri using Jack's recipe.

Boy Meets Dummy - S6-E9

Factual error: In this episode, Jack asks Felipe how he can bring Mr. Angelino to the apartment, in which he answers "We took the Santa Monica freeway to the Cloverfield exit." The Cloverfield exit is in reality, a good 2 miles or so from the beach (2 other exits are much closer to beach than this). Yet throughout the series, it is implied that the apartment is very close to the beach (3 blocks is stated by Jack in a much earlier episode). Why a far exit for a beach-area apartment?
