The Suicide - S3-E15

Revealing mistake: In this episode when Jerry leaves his room to talk to his neighbour about their fight, when he shuts his door the wall shakes revealing that the place he lives in is not a real apartment.

The Suicide - S3-E15

Continuity mistake: When George and Elaine are at the psychic, Elaine is saying she doesn't know how the psychic can put a cigarette in her mouth. At this point the psychic has the cigarette in her mouth and her hands are clasped. In the next shot, the cigarette is now in her hand.

The Fix-Up - S3-E16

Character mistake: George calls Jerry to tell him about sex with Cynthia. He starts by saying he just got home, which Jerry repeats. A few lines later, George confirms they had sex at his own apartment. Why would he be getting home from his own apartment? (00:13:50)

The Boyfriend (1) - S3-E17

Factual error: Newman says that the "Magic Loogie" incident happened on June 14, 1987, when the New York Mets lost to the Philadelphia Phillies due to an error by Mets first baseman Keith Hernandez. However, the Mets played the Pittsburgh Pirates on that date, and the Mets won 7-3.

The Letter - S3-E21

Continuity mistake: While George is talking to Nina about the painting, Jerry can be seen taking a bottle of water from the refrigerator. He's then seen holding the bottle when buzzing up Elaine, but then when talking to Nina about the "pop-in", the bottle's gone. It's then back in the next shot when Nina says she's leaving. The Trip (1) - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: While discussing Candice Bergen with Jerry, George picks up a menu and places it on the table; both he and Jerry have a menu. In the next shot showing the table (when George says, "I can't believe I missed Kramer,") both menus are flipped: in the first shot, white pages are facing up, and a yellow page is on the back of George's menu as he picks it up; in the second, the yellow sides are facing up. The Pitch - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: In this episode, George asks Russell if his last name contains a "y" and Russel answers that it doesn't. However, Russel is credited in this and subsequent episodes as "Russell Dalrymple."

Suggested correction: He was being curt with George and said "no" on purpose to drop the subject of how is last name is spelt. When George spelled his name, he was pretty close to spelling it correctly and Russell said"not even close", which we know isn't true.

The Airport - S4-E12

Factual error: In the episode where Jerry is upgraded to first class while Elaine struggles in coach, the scene changes to show a plane flying with the colors of Southwest Airlines, and you can make out the name "Southwest" written on the tail if you pause as it's landing. Anyone who has flown them knows that there is no first class on Southwest.

The Airport - S4-E12

Deliberate mistake: In this episode Elaine angers the bag man and he puts her bag on a plane to Honolulu. When Jerry and Elaine arrive in New York and are waiting for their bags, it cuts to the "Hawaii" airport and shows Elaine's bag coming out to the baggage claim belt. This was a deliberate mistake as there is no way Elaine's bag could have gotten to Hawaii at the same time Jerry and Elaine are waiting for their bags in New York, since they only left from Missouri.

The Pick - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Jerry is eating cereal and reading the paper. He puts down his spoon to turn the page. The page is still in his hand when the shot changes and now he's back to holding hod spoon.

Kramer: It's a write off for them.
Jerry: Write it off what?
Kramer: They just write it off.
Jerry: You don't even know what a write off is, do you?
Kramer: Do you?
Jerry: No, I don't.
Kramer. Well they do, and they're the ones writing it off.
Jerry: I wish I had the last 20 seconds of my life back.
