Red Dwarf

Duct Soup - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: When Kochanski is banging on the pipes at the start of the episode, she is using her right hand. There is then a close up shot of the pipe and you can see she is using her left hand. (00:01:50)

Nanarchy - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: At the start of the scene where Kochanski tells Kryten to let Lister be independent, Kryten's hands are below his circular stomach screen. In the next shot his hand is touching his chest plate. (00:06:35)

Stoke Me A Clipper - S7-E2

Revealing mistake: When Ace accelerates away from the Nazi troops, he is holding a gun in his right hand. He should not have been able to accelerate away as the throttle handle is on the right. (00:03:45)

Blue - S7-E5

Revealing mistake: At the start of the Munchkin song, you can see a circle around Rimmer's head where the footage of him singing is inserted into the footage of the marching puppet. (00:25:10)

Ouroboros - S7-E3

Continuity mistake: When Lister looks at the photo of the gelf, the shots from behind show one of his locks over his right shoulder. However, the view from in front of Lister shows the lock is gone. (00:14:40)

Beyond a Joke - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: After the Cat says about mooning out of the windows when Starbug gets hit, Kochanski falls back on her chair with her arms outstretched. In the next shot she is holding onto the monitor again. (00:25:00)

More trivia for Red Dwarf

Answer: Presumably he does, but it's never been used in any material related to the show. He is the only Cat left (as shown in Series 1), so even if he had once had a name, nobody would know it.

Answer: In the book, the Cat finds the concept of a name confusing, as he's convinced he's the center of the universe and the idea that someone wouldn't know who he was is baffling.
