Stasis Leak - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: In the lift, when the woman in the video is explaining how the lift works, she mentions "a bag will drop containing sedatives and cyanide capsules", pointing upwards. The shot cuts to Lister, and the woman in the video can be seen to the left of shot, with her arms at her side. (00:08:35)
Stasis Leak - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: When Lister is in the hotel room with future Lister and Kochanski, Lister says he came because he thought he was going to get married whilst talking to future Lister, but in the next shot, Lister's facial expression has suddenly changed and is now looking more confused. (00:25:35)
Stasis Leak - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: When future Lister is making Lister and Cat leave the hotel room, Lister begins talking to future Lister about living his life. Future Lister is standing beside the door in one shot, but has his head suddenly resting on the door in the next shot. (00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: When Lister notices the video, the silhouette of a flashing blue light is cast on the table (to the left of screen). In the next shot, there is no sign of the flashing blue light. (00:10:40)
Continuity mistake: When the computer has been launched, Lister walks into the drive room and notices the computer and stands behind Kryten and Rimmer. But when the camera is focused on the computer, there is no sign of Lister what so ever. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: When Lister keeps using the time wand on Captain Hollister several times, he keeps saying "See you in 10 minutes" several times. Every time Hollister says the line, the way he delivers the line keeps changing. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: When Ace Rimmer releases the crocodile, it bites Captain Voorhese's head, and the two begin to fall when Ace removes Voorhese's parachute. When the crocodile lands on the ground a few minutes later, there is no sign of Voorhese. (00:02:15 - 00:04:25)
Gunmen of the Apocalypse - S6-E3
Continuity mistake: The Cat brings down the town sign by shooting the right hand side of it. Seconds later, when they pick Kryten up, the sign is hanging in front of the Livery building, which would only have been possible if he'd shot the left hand side.
Continuity mistake: Starbug 1 is abandoned on backwards Earth. But it still appears twice more in this series.
Continuity mistake: When Rimmer first realises that his files are unflattering, the screen first from the right on the computer bank shows writing. But a change of view later, Holly is on the same screen. He does not have time to move.
Continuity mistake: When Rimmer is about to tell Lister how many times he made love, Lister tells him that he'll "wake up in the morning with a hangover." But Rimmer and Lister already have fallen asleep and woken up, and they have the hangovers right now.
Terrorform - S5-E3
Continuity mistake: When Kryten cuts off his hand, all of the fingers on the hand are straight and level with each other, but when he goes to attach his eye to one of the fingers, the middle finger is suddenly raised. (00:02:35)
Continuity mistake: Rimmer wears a hat with an antenna on the right hand side when on Starbug, and after arriving on Earth, but when he and Kryten are walking through the streets later on, the antenna is now on the left side of his hat, and is far more extended. (00:02:20 - 00:08:00)
Continuity mistake: When Kryten is piloting Starbug and gently "eases forwards", there is a shot shown from behind Starbug where it is driving out of the cargo bay to the exit, and it is shown a couple feet off the ground. When Starbug exits Red Dwarf in the next shot, Starbug is suddenly much higher above the ground. (00:04:20)
Stasis Leak - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: In the hotel room, when future Lister is telling Lister he doesn't look pleased to see him, the two Listers are standing directly in front of each other, but from another angle, future Lister is standing around 90° rotated from before, and a few steps to the right of Lister. (00:25:35)
Continuity mistake: When Howard and Crawford are transported to Trojan, two of the three teleporter doors are open. When Crawford goes through the teleporter, one of the three doors close. Yet when Cat puts the resentment file into Crawford's neck, she starts shooting at everything including the teleporters, and now all the doors are open. (00:23:00 - 00:26:30)
Continuity mistake: At The End of "Nanarchy", Kochanski's hair is brown. However, throughout series 8, her hair is blonde. And with everything going on in "Nanarchy" there would have been nowhere near enough time for her to dye it.

Suggested correction: Lister can only see M-Corp products and M-Corp employees. Cat is not an employee of JMC or M-Corp, so he disappears. Lister is the only member of the crew who is employed by M-Corp at this point.
Suggested correction: Cat was a descendant of the cat Lister brought aboard Red Dwarf. Would it be possible that the new owners might have stricter security controls, and Lister was sent to Stasis for a different reason?

Inventing Deux ex machina explanations for a plot hole doesn't make it any less of a plot hole. M-Corp erases all of the Jupiter Mining Corporation's equipment, personnel and infrastructure from Lister's life. In no way is Cat a part of that. He has no connection at all to the Jupiter Mining Corporation, and until he meets him in Episode 1 no connection to Lister, either.
If M-Corp only erased JMC equipment from Lister's life, then Kryten, who belongs to DivaDroid and not the JMC, wouldn't have disappeared either. He disappears as he doesn't belong to M-Corp, not because he belongs to the JMC. Cat has no connection to M-Corp, as he wasn't a part of the JMC (as you pointed out), and is therefore erased for Lister.
