Thanks For The Memory - S2-E3

Revealing mistake: During filming of the this episode, Craig Charles was called away for the birth of his son, Jack, so production manager Mike Agnew stepped in. Although Lister is wearing a space suit at the time you can still tell which part is Mike thanks to a continuity error - Mike forgot to put on Lister's plaster cast. (00:15:15)

Thanks For The Memory - S2-E3

Continuity mistake: When Rimmer falls asleep whilst Lister is doing the jigsaw, there is a whisky bottle on the table. Later in the episode, when being viewed on the black box, the whiskey bottle is no longer on the table. Lister could not have thrown it away since he left the table to the Hologram Simulation Suite at The End of the scene. (00:10:20 - 00:19:35)

[Rimmer is being taken by a group of hooded guards on a cross]
Rimmer: Look, I don't know who you are, or what you think you're doing, but I demand my right to a phone call.
[The guards stop]
Rimmer: Yes, I thought that'd stop you. I thought the threat of legal action would have you running for cover.
[Rimmer is now being dragged by the guards]
Rimmer: Look, I'm trying to keep my temper, but you really are pushing your luck now miladdikins.

Answer: Presumably he does, but it's never been used in any material related to the show. He is the only Cat left (as shown in Series 1), so even if he had once had a name, nobody would know it.

Moose

Answer: In the book, the Cat finds the concept of a name confusing, as he's convinced he's the center of the universe and the idea that someone wouldn't know who he was is baffling.
