The One Where the Monkey Gets Away - S1-E19

Continuity mistake: After Marcel has escaped from the basement, he is seen eating a banana as a pair of arms reach out to grab him. These arms are supposed to belong to Mr Heckles, their weird neighbour, however the arms clearly belong to a young, large and hair free woman. (00:16:10)

Continuity mistake: While Rachel's babysitting Marcel she's watching the soap opera on TV, and when she points out Dr. Francis there's a closeup of the TV and when she points out Raven there's another closeup, but the TVs in both closeups are different, as well as the items that are near the TVs.

The One Where the Monkey Gets Away - S1-E19

Continuity mistake: When Monica takes the newsletter from Rachel it's open to the pages with engagement news, and we can see the left page has pictures as Monica reads Mindy and Barry's notice on the right page, but when Monica wiggles out of her comment about Mindy being pretty that left page is now only words at the bottom, even though she's still open to the same page with Mindy and Barry's notice.

The One Where the Monkey Gets Away - S1-E19

Continuity mistake: When Rachel tells Ross that she "kind of lost" Marcel it cuts to an exterior shot from the balcony, and if we look past Rachel and Ross we see there's a table against the wall, under the Maïna La Voyante poster, but that table does not exist in previous or following shots. The One With Rachel's Date - S8-E5

Revealing mistake: In the scene in the coffee house, Phoebe is talking to Monica who is drinking a cup of coffee. Towards the end of the scene, the camera is on Phoebe who is smiling & laughing at Monica. In the right hand corner is a side view of 'Monica' however, it is not Courtney Cox in the scene, but a completely different actress. [Widescreen version only, although the "wrong" nose is visible in the original]. (00:06:20)

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying "I knew it." When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy and it is a big deal.", is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
