Visible crew/equipment: While Rockford searches for his wallet before heading to the funeral, Rocky uses "red Fords" as a life analogy. This change continues to occur in following shots. (00:18:50)
Continuity mistake: While Rockford convinces Rocky to temporarily stay at LJ's, Angel fixes himself a sandwich then lifts the plate with his left hand and grabs the beer with his right hand, but next shot the items have switched hands in midair. (00:41:50)

Visible crew/equipment: When Rockford walks over to Chris Jenk's airplane there are no tape marks on the ground near the wing, but when Rockford hands Chris his briefcase, there are two small black tape marks on the ground, one by Rockford's feet and the other where Chris had been standing in the previous shot. (00:26:55)
Visible crew/equipment: After Angel dives into Firebird through the open window, Rockford ends up chasing after Kane with sirens following, and when Rockford pulls over at the side of a road, we can see the reflection of the crew and filming equipment positioned beside the car. (00:33:55)
Visible crew/equipment: When Rockford leaves the motel room he gets into his car, backs up and beeps, then as Angel dives into the car through the open window, we can see the reflection of crew, camera, boom mic, boom operator on the surface of the Firebird. (00:32:40)

(00:27:00)
Continuity mistake: At the airport, when Chris is in the cockpit of the "blue and yellow single engine" the aircraft's N-number is N8825H, but when Chris is on his way to Oregon the airplane hits the water, and its tail number is now N4372K. (00:27:10)
