Continuity mistake: While Rockford is at the Paddock Club restaurant with Al and Marcy, there's a filled salad plate and a place setting on the table in front of Rockford, but everything disappears in two different shots facing only Al and Marcy. Visible crew/equipment: When Rockford goes to the land sales office Murray tells him they're closed, then as they both walk over to Murray's briefcase, two white T-marks are visible on the red carpet. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: When Rockford walks into the Mayfair bathroom there's a guy at one of the sinks. The style of the sink and faucet is entirely different between the closeups and wide shots. (00:46:00)
The Farnsworth Stratagem - S2-E2
Visible crew/equipment: While Rockford and Audrey are with Becker at the police station talking about Lt. Diel, when the officer opens the door and tells Becker to book him up, the individual white tape marks are visible on the floor at both of the actor's feet. (00:12:45)
Visible crew/equipment: While Rockford is driving with his father in the pickup Hammel's goon goes after Rocky again, and when they get to the docks Rockford shows Becker the window that was shot out. When Becker tells Rocky where to park the pickup, the shadow of the boom pole and mic is visible on the truck bed cover as Rocky drives off. (00:39:10)
The Farnsworth Stratagem - S2-E2
Visible crew/equipment: After Rockford comes up with the plan regarding the power of attorney and mineral rights, when it cuts to the trailer just as Rockford walks out of his bedroom carrying his garment bag, as the camera pans from right to left we can see the boom pole and mic hovering near the bottom left side of the screen. The entire microphone is visible at lower left corner beside the envelopes when Becker says, "Mineral rights," and slaps that envelope down. (00:16:25)
Visible crew/equipment: While the two goons are trying to find Rocky they start chasing after Rockford, and when both cars drive through the car wash area, in the long shot we see a car wash employee at the left, and at the center of the screen we see a camera operator carrying a hand-held camera rushing after the cars as he's filming them. The Dark and Bloody Ground - S1-E3
Visible crew/equipment: When Rockford returns to his trailer and begins to tell Rocky about his ordeal with the semi in Arizona, just as Rockford says, "It tried to run me off a mountain," watch as the microphone pops up at the bottom, right side of the screen behind the glass bowl. (00:22:55)
Backlash of the Hunter - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Rockford's car has license plate number "835-OKG" at the front of his car, but license plate number "853-OKG" at the back of his car, a few times during the episode. (00:35:40 - 00:37:50)
Visible crew/equipment: The mysterious person who was chasing Rockford apparently loses him in the parking lot. As he drives away, on the sidewalk there's filming equipment by the entrance of the lot, and it cuts to an angle that is exactly what they were filming. (00:06:50)
The Countess - S1-E4
Revealing mistake: When the car falls off a cliff at the end, it's an entirely different looking model with different headlights (square vs round), and empty (at least nobody in the passenger seat for sure). (00:46:30)
Tall Woman in Red Wagon - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: When Rockford is eating with Sandra, extras appear with wild inconsistencies - for instance, the woman at the table behind her, is one of the extras walking behind Rockford in a reverse shot. (00:05:30)
Backlash of the Hunter - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Rockford goes to police to ask Dennis Becker about the case. He leans against the wall as they chat, but his left hand is blatantly at different height in the two different angles that alternate. (00:24:30)
The Countess - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Rockford pours liquor to The Countess in a plastic cup; whoever is doing that in close-up is not wearing a wristwatch, James Garner in the rest of the scene does. (00:07:30)
Continuity mistake: Rockford knocks out of the bad guy with a shovel in the gut. He drops the shovel in the bunker, and the tool a couple seconds later is lying down in a different place without him touching it. (00:45:00)
Revealing mistake: During the car chase in the golf course, Rockford gets ahead of Muzzy Vinette and has to turn the car to block his path. You can see in the grass, in that precise spot, different marks from previous takes of the scene. Obviously not a maneuver golf carts perform, and right there. (00:43:40)
