Continuity mistake: On 1/14/04, Sam tells TC that if someone had told him the previous month that Grace would be with David now, he wouldn't have believed it. But Grace chose David on 11/14/03, so it would already have been a fact during the entirety of the month in question.

Continuity mistake: At Roman and Kate's wedding ceremony and thereafter (December, 2003 - January, 2004), Sami made frequent reference to the fact that Marlena and Roman are "still married in the eyes of God," presumably a reference to the fact that the Catholic church does not condone divorce. With no shortage of characters who wanted Sami to just shut up, why did nobody bring up the fact that Marlena married and divorced Don Craig several years before she married Roman, and is therefore married only to him "in the eyes of God" if one insists on using that standard?

Continuity mistake: They never do explain why Kate is covered with blood when she comes screaming back into the wedding reception after Roman is killed. One might assume that it was Roman's blood, but if that's the case then why was Roman's body still underneath the table when the others found it? In that position, Kate couldn't have had nearly enough contact with his corpse to get that much blood on her.

Continuity mistake: One scene is captioned as being the end of the summer, and the kids are going back home for school. The next caption, about ten minutes after that scene, tells us that it is six months later, and also Christmas. But Christmas is just three months after the end of the summer, so either the caption is partially wrong, or the few intervening scenes carried us from September to the following June without even seeing the intervening holiday season, and then the caption was meant to jump us by an additional six months.

Sure enough, the next morning, it was to be their wedding day. But as midnight approached after the ceremony, it was New Year's Eve and everybody was getting ready to celebrate the new year, there at the wedding. But it was supposed to be December 26.

Continuity mistake: When Tru and Harrison talk on the phone near the beginning of the day's second incarnation, it is pouring rain where Harrison is, and he's standing under an awning. It's not raining by Tru - or at least not enough to be noticed by the camera or to get her wet, which isn't a problem in and of itself, except that everybody around Tru is carrying umbrellas for some reason.

Continuity mistake: The week of 12/8/03, Child Protective Services took Little Ethan from Theresa. As one would expect, she became hysterically upset. But after her son was gone, Theresa calmed down enough to call the police station and Luis' cell phone, all while speaking and acting completely rationally. When she realized that everybody was at Sarah's funeral with their cell phones off, she decided to go there. Inexplicably, by the time she got there, she was completely hysterical again.

Somewhere along the way, everyone was aged much more than he was, and now he's supposed to have grown up with Belle Black, who was actually born some six years after him. He's in his sophomore year of college, while his aforementioned, erstwhile friends are all in their late twenties.

But Eve and TC weren't shown with luggage at any point in time; they went to LA on the spur of the moment to help Whitney. And even if she did have other clothes with her, there was never a chance for to change into them, since they went from the hospital straight to the airport.
