Question: Why did anyone believe Sam killed Alan? Nobody saw it happen and everybody knew Sam loved him. What made anyone believe that Sam killed his own son?

Answer: The only mention of the rumor we hear is from the exterminator in 1995. Maybe he just made it up to try to spook Judy and Peter, or he heard a rumor that got distorted over time and didn't question it himself.
Actually Sarah also mentions the same rumor.
Answer: I think it was a way to solve the mystery of the town. All kinds of theories are created.
Even though Sarah Whittle was the only witness to Alan's disappearance.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
Question: How did Harry and Marv know that Kevin would escape through the back door of the Plaza Hotel while waiting for him?
Answer: It's most likely a plot hole, but one possible explanation I can think of is that perhaps Harry and Marv observed from afar the scuffle between Kevin and the concierge and deduced that he would try to flee the hotel from a door that wasn't necessarily being watched by the hotel staff.
Answer: It could also be because the Wet Bandits were planning to break into the hotel through that door rather than the front entrance and just got lucky.
Well, when Kevin got out the door, Harry and Marv were standing as they were waiting before they captured him. Besides, Kevin has been in that hotel a little longer.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
Question: What happened to the limo on the curb of the toy store after Kevin got out? Why did the limo driver leave him there?
Answer: During that time, the hotel found out the credit card Kevin used was stolen. So since they were the ones who got the limo for Kevin, it's safe to assume they also called it back.
Answer: When Kevin exits the toy store he doesn't look around for the limo but instead pulls out his map to examine it. This would suggest that Kevin was intending to do some more sightseeing on foot and likely told the limo driver not to wait for him.
When Kevin got outside the toy store, he did look around like he was confused, and after that, he raised his shoulders.

Question: How did Gomez and Fester Addams get back up to the first floor from the vault? All they enter was the slides.
Answer: No doubt the Addams house had one of many secret, confusing passageways to get to the higher floors (and other parts of the house) from the vault that the viewer obviously is not privy to.
It made me confused that if there's another secret way up to the house other than the slides or the bookshelf even though Fester had trouble finding which chains to pull but couldn't find the right one, If there was another way into or out of the vault and that means Fester had to know there was if Gomez was with him than Fester would have try the other one too instead of the bookshelf.

Question: What does the Lion mean that "humans can't handle it" if they do break the code to talk to them?
Answer: Most likely that learning that animals could always talk would be a big shock to them and they wouldn't know how to handle it.
What they're (Humans) gonna do if they can't?
When a "reality that has always been true" (animals can't talk) turns out to be false, the world as adults knew it is suddenly turned upside-down, which causes stress. The things adults said in the presence of animals were actually understood by them when adults presumed they were not. This could cause anxiety, embarrassment, regret, and other "difficult to handle" emotions. Cruel words directed toward animals ("You're so ugly; "You're stupid") can't be taken back, which would be disturbing.
The new reality would require a period of adjustment wherein adults would have to deal with and overcome their emotions and any past transgressions toward animals while learning to communicate more effectively and appropriately with them.

Question: Didn't the little girl who saw Ironhide out of the pool report what she saw to her parents or anybody?
Answer: Thieves, vandals, drunk teens take your pick. They would believe any of that, before they'd believe a giant alien robot.
Answer: It's unknown if she did but if she had, being a little girl, her parents or other people would have either thought of it as being nothing more than a child's playful imagination, or her just having a strange dream.
What about the damages to the pool and the property?

Question: Why do Manny and Lily's parents move out after they've turned into dogs?
Answer: The book says that some couples would move away because they were upset when the children turned back into dogs permanently. Not necessarily because they didn't want dogs. It was too difficult for them to own the dogs that had served as their children for years.
Why can't they tell their friends that they're moving? Without telling them it made them confused.
The "parents" probably want to leave in a hurry and be done with the town. Even if the "children's" friends are confused. And they know that the other children could turn back into dogs soon, anyway.
Answer: They were couples who couldn't have children and were part of an experiment where dogs were turned into humans. Once Lily and Manny turned back into dogs they left the project because they didn't want dogs.
According to the book, they didn't necessarily leave because they didn't want dogs. They were too upset when the children turned back into dogs.

Question: How come Drew can't let Angelica have the new Queen of the World Cynthia Doll?
Answer: He doesn't at first because she already has a Cynthia doll of her own. But later when the doll goes missing she gets the new Queen of the World doll. But Spike ends up digging up her which she had buried and gives it back to her so Drew just decides to take the doll back to the store because she had her doll back.
Why can't Drew just let her keep it instead of returning it, even though she wanted it so much like she said to him earlier, so she can have them both?
Answer: Because she already had a Cynthia doll of her own. It also depends on how much the doll costs some dolls when they are brand new cost a lot of money.

Question: How come Andy didn't give his old toys to Molly?
Answer: More than likely she didn't want them. Besides Barbie the toys never really speak of Molly at all, so it's likely she rarely ever played with them, if at all.
Answer: Then why does Andy have Mrs. Potatohead? From what I remember Molly got Mrs. Potatohead for Christmas at the end of the first movie so shouldn't she belong to Molly?
It is suggested Molly hardly played with Mrs. Potato Head and she was kept alongside Mr. Potato Head in Andy's room since then. The rest of Andy's toys are mostly "boy" toys, so Molly may well not be interested in them anyway.
Either Andy borrowed or even kept it in case Molly didn't need it or want it.

Question: Why do the toys not want people to know they're alive?
Answer: Because they are supposed to play out the part of a toy, that's their purpose. They want to be there for a child as a toy.
Ok, but what are they afraid might happen if people knew they were alive?
I don't really know how you want to look at this but if you look at it realistically I think it's quite obvious what they are afraid of. If it became publicly know that every toy ever made, including all teddy bears, remotely controlled cars and even etch-a-sketches are sentient, then you could probably expect a reaction comparable to that of Sid. Fear and panic.
Also, wouldn't toys risk being experimented on, imprisoned, or destroyed if they revealed to humans that they were alive?
Exactly what happened to Sid. He found out and freaked out.
Answer: They're not necessarily afraid, it's just part of being a toy. Woody even mentions "breaking rules" when they move in front of Sid. They may just accept that it's something they're not supposed to do.
But they did reveal themselves to animals like Scud and Buster though.
How are dogs going to tell anyone? Besides, they don't care since they are animals.
Answer: I think it's safe to assume that, unless a toy makes a conscious decision to reveal their true nature, they automatically default to inanimate toy mode. Otherwise, Buzz would have easily revealed himself within the first hour after Andy got him. With that in mind, since it's apparently something they have to work to do, I would propose that it's not that they have a reason not to want anyone to know their true nature, but that they have to have a real reason to reveal it in order to do so, like Woody had to save Buzz.
But Buzz could just as easily make the conscious decision to move whilst Andy was there, he thought he was the real Buzz lightyear after all, and not a toy. Then again, in the plot it's kinda stupid Buzz doesn't think he's a toy even though Andy plays with him. But if Woody can move whilst a human is in the room, then any toy can do that. Therefore, it's a decision not to do so. Buzz most likely got asked by the other toys to play the part and he obliged since he needed them till his ship was fixed, but still.
I said it appears they have to make a conscious decision to reveal their nature. Buzz not knowing his true nature makes that kind of impossible for him so he reverts to toy mode when Andy's around. Probably without even being aware of it.
That's a possibility. But then the question arises how the other toys became self-aware and why they are self-aware in the first place. It appears this is the first time they meet a toy that doesn't know he's a toy. On one side you have toys that are aware they are a toy and want to play by its rules and on the other hand you havee toys that don't believe they are one but magically never reveal their sentience.
Who said this was the first time this has happened? For all we know, Woody could've thought he was a real cowboy before realizing he's a toy. We just don't see his or any of the other toys' backstories.
Yet Buzz could also believe he's on a secret mission from Star Command, hence why he freezes. He didn't even believe he was a real toy at this point. Not a plot hole and not confusing. Also, toys can somehow "sense" when people are nearby and only move if either A), there's no people around or B), nobody's looking. Notice how all the toys go back to "toy form" any time this happens? They're very careful, not stupid.
Also a possibility, sure. Just to be clear; I'm not against the idea and thought process behind the plot. It's just a animated movie for kids. I just like to argue.
Answer: I questioned this to myself; even at Pizza Planet, before Buzz learns he's a toy, he gets picked up by Sid in the claw machine and turns back into an inanimate object which means by some sort of unconscious decision he becomes a toy again.

Answer: People believe the craziest things. I don't think it was widely believed Sam killed Alan, but that he ran away from home. Through the passed time stories pop up about murder and hiding Alan behind the walls of the house. It was just a rumour.
