He says, "Hadouken" as he attempts the attack-a reference to Capcom's Street Fighter series of video games. Later, one of the others says, "Finish him" upon the defeat of the main villain-a reference to the rival game, Mortal Kombat and the signature phrase of its main boss, Shao Khan.

Suggested correction: How is this trivia? It's obvious in the film.

Some stuff like this is interesting to read about even if you've not seen the film yet. I didn't know that scene existed, for one.

Us (2019)

Question: Spoiler: The project behind The Tethered (and the rabbits) was said to have been abandoned for generations and the subjects left directionless. How, then, did that still have water, power, etc.?

Erik M.

Answer: The project was abandoned, but they obviously kept the tethered ones alive. This may have been out of some sense of compassion, or because there was a possibility they would be useful in the future.

Suggested correction: Sorry, maybe I'm missing something, but how is this trivia? Actors and actresses star in multiple movies. The three mentioned are not related or even similar. I don't see how this is trivia.

The_Iceman

I felt that it is trivia to know that this actress continued to stay active in the horror/thriller genre...different, important roles. Some of her fans might not have even recognized her starting out in The Birds.

Erik M.

This isn't a trivia about the movie itself though. Trivia about cast members is acceptable if their role reflects or references a previous work, but not future works. And simply listing a person's acting resume isn't trivia without it being relevant to the film itself. For example, if an actor from an original TV show or movie appears in the reboot, you can list that as trivia for the reboot, but it wouldn't be trivia for the original. Plus, the film "The Birds" isn't an alien-based horror film.

Trivia: The landstriders - large quadruped beings that are able to run fast and for vast distances without tiring, sometimes used as mounts - were actually professional stiltwalkers who used extensions on their arms and legs and were in costume. Wires removed in post-production helped hold them up and prevent serious falls.

The Dark Crystal (1982)

Trivia: The Skeksis may seem to have different genders by their voices and behaviors, but are in fact something of both male and female genders. Jim Henson thought that having a world where gender was more ambiguous would be more interesting in general, and for Skeksis, more disconcerting.
