The Birds (1963)

Trivia: Mitch's sister, Cathy Brenner, is played by a then very young Veronica Cartwright in her first horror role, who went on to star in other horrors, often alien-related: the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers as the sole surviving human, Nancy, in Alien as the character of Lambert and play a recurring abductee character on the long running series, The X-Files.

Suggested correction: Sorry, maybe I'm missing something, but how is this trivia? Actors and actresses star in multiple movies. The three mentioned are not related or even similar. I don't see how this is trivia.

I felt that it is trivia to know that this actress continued to stay active in the horror/thriller genre...different, important roles. Some of her fans might not have even recognized her starting out in The Birds.

This isn't a trivia about the movie itself though. Trivia about cast members is acceptable if their role reflects or references a previous work, but not future works. And simply listing a person's acting resume isn't trivia without it being relevant to the film itself. For example, if an actor from an original TV show or movie appears in the reboot, you can list that as trivia for the reboot, but it wouldn't be trivia for the original. Plus, the film "The Birds" isn't an alien-based horror film.

Body Snatchers (1993)

Trivia: The inhuman shriek that the pod people use to alert their brethren of unduplicated humans present was invented for the 2nd film adaptation and carried into this, the 3rd - it is not part of the book, but remains very effective, hence its continued inclusion in film.

Audio problem: While Lynda is filing her nails just as Michael enters the scene wearing a sheet and glasses, the sound of her filing continues despite her pausing.

Trivia: The landstriders - large quadruped beings that are able to run fast and for vast distances without tiring, sometimes used as mounts - were actually professional stiltwalkers who used extensions on their arms and legs and were in costume. Wires removed in post-production helped hold them up and prevent serious falls.

The Dark Crystal (1982)

Trivia: The Skeksis may seem to have different genders by their voices and behaviors, but are in fact something of both male and female genders. Jim Henson thought that having a world where gender was more ambiguous would be more interesting in general, and for Skeksis, more disconcerting.

Trivia: Augra, the horned being with curly hair, is the guardian of Thra who was initially possessing both male and female attributes-but most of the male part of her was lost while viewing the Universe. She still sports some whiskers on her face to show that she's still not entirely either gender.

Trivia: The film has Joel and Clementine meeting in Montauk, NY. The Montauk Project is known among conspiracy theorists as the alleged site of experiments in, among other things, mind control and memory manipulation.

Aquaman (2018)

Other mistake: Artistic license via CGI physics is taken for all the characters in the water to keep their hair from ever flowing over their faces, no matter how long or how the currents might affect their hairstyles. When characters emerge out of the water, their hair remains nearly unaffected.

Let Me In (2010)

Factual error: A fire breaks out in the hospital due to one of Abby's victims being exposed to sunlight as she's turning into a vampire, destroying that vampire and a burning a nurse to death. Modern hospitals have fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, etc. and sensors/alarms that the fire would have activated.

Trivia: Nina's visiting Uncle is killed in his car by Karl's mute servant Hagen, who causes a car accident and then proceeds to set him on fire. Hanging on the rear view mirror is a Happy Face that gets a splotch of blood on it, reminiscent of The Comedian's iconic pin in The Watchmen.

Trivia: Fans of the film Armageddon might notice the reuniting of Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton - in that movie, Thornton works for NASA and Willis' character is a civilian who rises to the challenge to save Earth; in this film, Thornton wants to get into space as a civilian and this time Willis' character is part of the military.
