Dawson's Creek (1998)

Dance (aka Dirty Dancing) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Dawson and Joey are walking home from The Dance, Joey tells Dawson that they should stay home and watch movies on the next dance night, because "The remote on the rewind of life does not work." She means, of course that "The rewind on the remote of life does not work." Katie Holmes actually starts laughing at herself, but the scene goes on anyway.

Correction: This is a character mistake.

Corrected entry: In the scene in the Wallace and Gromit short film "The Wrong Trousers" where Wallace showed the penguin into Gromit's room, the door opened from the left side. In this movie, Gromit is looking for the rabbit and when he enters his room, the door opens from the right side.

Correction: It is certainly possible that the door and hinges could have been switched to open on the other side at some point between the two stories. The two of them redesign things all the time.

Friends (1994)

Correction: She doubtless does remember him, but may not want to be so rude as to leave a date like that, or perhaps she just wanted to give him a second chance.

Friends (1994)

The Last One (2) - S10-E20

Corrected entry: In the episode The Last One (1), Joey said he sat on the baby welcome sign, but in the episode The Last One (2), when he is going to get something to open the football table, we can see the back side of his jeans and there is no red paint on them.

Correction: He's had plenty of time to change jeans.

Friends (1994)

The One with the Butt - S1-E6

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the episode where they are all watching Joey's play, Chandler says that you could always spot someone who has never seen one of Joey's plays. At this time Phoebe is looking inside the leaflet about the play the shot changes to a shot of her and she is looking at the front of leaflet saying the title makes her jump.

Correction: In the shot of Rachel with Phoebe in the background, you can clearly see Phoebe close the leaflet and turn to the front cover.

Friends (1994)

The One With Rachel's Sister - S6-E13

Corrected entry: When Rachel comes in to spy on Ross through Monica and Chandler's window we hear the shower water running and both Monica and Chandler are in the bathroom. However, Chandler comes out wearing a T-shirt under his robe (and he's wearing socks). This seems to assume that he is dry (as the T-shirt is dry too). Also we can see that Monica is wearing her nightdress under her robe when we see down to her feet, so how could one or both of them have been showering?

Correction: It could have been bathwater running, and they were not yet in the tub.

Emma (1996)

Corrected entry: When Emma sits in her bedroom looking out of the window at night, her hair hangs loose and is thick and long. It seems only in that scene Gwyneth Paltrow wears a wig. If all that hair were to be piled on top of her head as it is in the rest of the film, the hairdo would be a lot more voluminous than what we see.

Correction: I don't see this as a mistake, and am not at all convinced it's a wig. It's much easier than you'd think to get thick hair into a tight 'do when you put it up.

M*A*S*H (1972)

Correction: This is not an error. Radar is not vegetarian, and has no problem eating meat. However, he finds a big difference between a cut of meat arriving on his plate - and actually "meeting" the animal who will go on to become dinner.

Sex and the City (1998)

My motherboard, my self - S4-E8

Corrected entry: When Carrie takes her laptop to be repaired, the supposed expert says that "Ctrl Alt Delete," only works on PCs and it's therefore implied that it didn't work because this is a laptop. This of course is totally incorrect; Ctrl Alt Delete is a Windows function and therefore works on anything which has Windows, regardless of it being a PC or laptop.

David Mercier

Correction: It's because her laptop is a Mac. PC is a generic "IBM compatible" term which covers both desktops and laptops.

Friends (1994)

The One In Massapequa - S8-E18

Corrected entry: When Ross is telling the imaginary story of how he 'proposed' to Rachel, he says that he did it at the planetarium because 'that's where we had our first date.' However this cannot be right because in series 4 'The One With Chandler In A Box,' Ross accuses Rachel of having no sentiment so she shows him a movie stub from their first date, implying that they went to see a movie, not to the planetarium.

Correction: True, Ross and Rachel didn't go to the Planetarium on their first date, but they did end up there on their second date. It was also the place where they first made love, and it's quite possible Ross would say it was the location of their first date to be polite and not talk about sex in front of his family and older friends.

Smashed - S6-E9

Corrected entry: When Amy is de-ratted in season 6 she is quite strong, almost as strong as Willow - she can move things with a glance and turn people into goats with a wave of her hand. But when she turned herself into a rat in season 3 she had nowhere near this level of power - if she did she could have escaped from MOO with ease, and not in a way that left her a rodent for 3 years. How have Amy's powers grown so much?

Shay

Correction: This seems to make a huge assumption about her level of magical power, since she was only an occasionally recurring character. She easily turned herself into a rat with little or no effort, and Willow commented on what a powerful witch she was. We have no reason to suppose that she wasn't a very talented witch even before she went ratty.

Him - S7-E6

Corrected entry: In "Him", after Xander has his flashback to "Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered" he smiles and says 'Good times...', but during that episode he explicity stated that he hated what was happening. Nearly being axe murdered by a crazed horde of women shouldn't be a happy memory, it should be a traumatic one.

Shay

Correction: I don't see this as a mistake. Looking back at the day when every woman in town was crazy about him, Xander probably does see the upside.

Hell's Bells - S6-E16

Corrected entry: In 'Hell's Bells' the only part of Dawn's conversation Anya could have heard is "...he's just run off and no one can find him". Given that she had already been told the cleric had run off to perform a C-section how does she instantly realise that it's Xander Dawn is talking about? Shouldn't her first thought be that Dawn is talking about the missing cleric?

Shay

Correction: Well, if she thought the cleric had left for a specific reason, she wouldn't expect anyone to be trying to find him - as they knew where he went, so it couldn't really be him that Dawn was talking about. Xander is the only other male who is essential for the ceremony, plus the fact that she knows him well enough to suspect he might suffer from cold feet.
