Hey Arnold! (1996)

Correction: It's pretty well implied in this show that everybody knows who everybody is. So having only names is perfectly ok.

Hey Arnold! (1996)

Correction: If you look you can see the sun going down when we first see it when they step out of the theater. This is a cartoon so it's perfectly ok to suspend reality for awhile.

Hey Arnold! (1996)

Correction: Unless we saw him without his hat a second before this isn't a mistake, even if it's rare for Arnold to not be wearing his hat.

Hey Arnold! (1996)

Married - S5-E16

Corrected entry: The first time Arnold tries it, he says five, but Rhonda actually makes six moves; the second time, Arnold says three, but Rhonda counts off four.

AidanN

Correction: That's a mistake she made as a character. Not a movie mistake.

Alpha Dog (2006)

Corrected entry: Johnny and others are seen smoking in bar. However, the California Smokefree Workplace law went into effect in 1998 for bars.

AidanN

Correction: I've been in bars and truck stops in CA that still have smoking or smoking sections after 1998. The way they got around it was to have "smoking clubs" to which people would have to buy a membership, for $1 usually, and thereby they waived their right to sue for damages under the Smokefree Workplace act. Quite possibly Johnny and all are members of a similar club.

Jarhead (2005)

Corrected entry: During the Christmas party sequence, the song "O.P.P." by Naughty By Nature was played. This track, however, was not released until late 1991, while this part of the film is set in earlier 1991.

AidanN

Correction: O.P.P. was released Sept 24, 1991. Obviously a Christmas party would be in Dec 1991.

Scream (1996)

Corrected entry: At the end when Billy uses the voice changer and says time to guess how I'm gonna die, his voice doesn't match the polished voice we heard earlier in the movie on the phone.

AidanN

Correction: That's because he's screaming it into the voice changer. And he no longer has to hide who he is anyway; Sidney knows he's the killer.

Scream (1996)

Corrected entry: After Sydney gets attacked at the beginning and is sitting in the back of an ambulance for police questioning, the ambulance says Bayshore, when Woodsboro is inland in California.

AidanN

Correction: Bayshore is just the name of the ambulance company - it doesn't imply that the ambulance can only operate near a bay or a shore.

The news van also comes from San Francisco, so you can assume that while being inland, the fictional town of Woodsboro, located in NorCal, is not too far away from" the bay."

Under Siege (1992)

Corrected entry: The terrorists who wear IFBs, wear them incorrectly. They have them clipped on the front of their shirts, and then put in the ear. The correct way is to have the cable clipped onto the back of the shirt, and then cord goes over the ear, and into it, making sure the cords do not get in their way.

AidanN

Correction: They are terrorists, not trained soldiers, likely not trained in how to properly wear the IFB's. Aside from that, it would be a character(s) mistake, not a movie mistake.

It could also be a "crew thing" where all their guys just wear them like that.

The Mummy (1999)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, when the Mummy's girlfriend is put on the table next to Rachel Weisz, it is VERY obvious that she is breathing BEFORE he tries to bring her back to life.

AidanN

Correction: Based on an IMDB entry, this is plain wrong. Until the 'spirit' enters her body, Ankh-Su-Namum is just a prop dummy, not an actress in costume, so there is no breathing, or a pulse, or anything similar. After the spirit enters, she's allowed to be breathing.

This is inaccurate. The female mummy was actually one of the make-up artists, and she was so nervous during filming that her pulse is visible prior to the spirit entering her body.

3 Ninjas (1992)

Corrected entry: When the kids are getting ready to leave for school they go out the back door. But in the next scene they are coming out of the garage and the door is opening. This means that they either went in a side door or went in through the garage door, closed it, and then opened it again when they had their bikes. So why didn't they just go through the door that connects the house to the garage? Also, if Emily left her bike on the driveway, why wouldn't she just go the front door?

AidanN

Correction: It's just a choice the characters made. Choices that are made in the movie by characters are not valid mistakes.

Hey Arnold! (1996)

Correction: This entry seems somewhat silly, as brunette means brown hair.

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie when Marty is driving down the street in 1955 to go back to 1985, Doc is trying to get the electricity cables back together for the lightning needed to send Marty back to the future. Doc then slides down the cable to connect the cable to the other one over the street. As he's about to connect the cable, the lightning strikes. He then has at least half a second to connect the cable and he does. But the lightning takes at least two seconds to get from the tower to the car. This is way to slow for electricity. Electricity can move around the world four times in a second.

AidanN

Correction: The velocity of electric current depends very much on the insulation of the wiring being used. For instance, in open air (such as lightning) electricity is very fast, but within rubber-insulated wiring, it is slower.
