Other mistake: Phoebe's Little Problem: When Arnold goes into Phoebe's room to cheer her up, the birdcage is reflected in the mirror on the wall, but the birdcage is too far to the right of the mirror, so it shouldn't be reflected. This error is shown again in a later shot where Phoebe tells Arnold, "And I'm very good at checkers." (00:09:13 - 00:09:45)

Other mistake: Sid the Vampire Slayer: While Sid stands in front of the mirror and points his rubber sword at Arnold and Stinky, the two ghoulish vampires, Arnold asks him, "How can we be vampires if we have reflections?" So when Sid is aware of his mistake, Arnold's eyes disappear and reappear in his reflection mid-shot.

Continuity mistake: Phoebe's Little Problem: When Phoebe tells the lunch lady what she wants and she questions her choices, the lunch lady is standing behind the counter, as she should be. When she is shown again two shots later, she is standing in front of the counter, when she should be behind it. (00:04:03)

Other mistake: Helga's Locket: When Helga climbs to the top of the boarding house and looks at Arnold and Grandpa through the window, as Arnold tells Grandpa, "It's embarrassing and weird," Helga's left sleeve is incorrectly coloured pink instead of white. (00:09:02)

Continuity mistake: Buses, Bikes, and Subways: Helga wears a watch on her right arm throughout the episode. However, when Helga approaches Sheena's uncle Earl and wakes him up, her watch is missing, then reappears when Earl's boat sinks. It disappears again when Helga comes up from the water, then reappears a moment later. (00:18:59)

Continuity mistake: During the flashback, when little Arnold says goodbye to his parents, in the next shot of Stella and Miles, the bag's strap is slung over his dad's left shoulder as a crossbody, but mid-shot, the strap switches to his right shoulder with the bag on the opposite side. (00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: When Grandpa enters and exits Arnold's bedroom, the door opens the opposite way in various shots, with the doorknob on either the left or right. Additionally, the light switch beside the door appears and disappears, between shots.

Revealing mistake: Timberly Loves Arnold: When Lila says, "That is, if Arnold doesn't mind making it a threesome," her left eyelashes disappear for one frame. (00:05:50)

Audio problem: Phoebe's Little Problem: When Harold wets his pants at the end, Stinky can be heard saying, "Harold wet his pants," but in the shot, he is actually laughing. (00:11:39)

Other mistake: Mr. Green Runs: When Green tells Arnold he can't be himself and needs to come up with some fancy words, Arnold is wearing a "Vote Green" button. Then, just as Green says, "I gotta get outta here," Arnold's button now reads "Voet Green" with Vote misspelled.
Character mistake: The first time Arnold tries Rhonda's marriage predictor test, he says his favorite number is five, but Rhonda actually makes six moves. The second time, Arnold says it's three, but Rhonda counts off four.
Monkeyman! / Buses, Bikes and Subways - S5-E1
Continuity mistake: Mr. Simmons counts 30 students in the bus, but nowhere near that many got off (nor have nearly that many fourth graders ever been shown).
Answer: The episode doesn't really elaborate on who the kid was and what his motives were, so its pure speculation as to why he took it. Perhaps the kid could simply want a ball all for himself and decided to just take it, or was simply a rotten kid. The truth is the kid's motives are not important to the story other than it highlights Arnold was having a lot of trouble getting through the list.
