Being There (1979)

Continuity mistake: When Rand is getting his blood transfusion and Chance gets wheeled in there's a nurse sitting at the end of Rand's bed holding his hand. When the camera is only on Rand the nurse is not there, although she should be in the picture the way she is leaning forward. Also the way the blood tube is positioned changes between lying flat and coiled up in different camera angles. (00:38:35)

Continuity mistake: When Bob and Charlotte take a taxi to the Karaoke place a man carrying a lot of stuff is running across the street in front of them in a rather funny way. When the camera angle changes as the taxi drives off the man has disappeared. (00:45:20)

Continuity mistake: When Charlotte listens to the soul-searching CD the picture of the author on the back cover multiplies in size between shots when she turns the box around. (00:27:20)

Other mistake: When Bob wakes up after the night with the singer she is already in the bathroom. However, the pillows on her side are obviously untouched. (01:19:20)

Continuity mistake: In the Karaoke scene, when it's Charlotte's turn, one briefly sees the number 601 on the door to the cabin. Later, when she's waiting outside and Bob leaves the room it's the number 602. (00:48:10)

Dr. Strangelove (1964)

Continuity mistake: During Dr. Strangelove's last delivery in the war room the Russian ambassador is standing next to his wheelchair, looking straight and grim. Strangelove develops some rather macho ideas about the ratio of women and men in the mine shafts after, and the ambassador turns to him and says with a smile, "You have an astonishingly good idea." but when the camera angle changes he is looking as straight and grim as before. Dr. Strangelove (1964)

Factual error: After the B-52 has been hit by the missile it's supposed to leak fuel at a rather high rate. Such a leak would cause a visible trail, however, we only see some black smoke right after the hit which disappears after the fires are extinguished. (01:01:55)

Dr. Strangelove (1964)

Character mistake: The so-called cobalt chlorium (.) G, which is supposed to be used in the Russian doomsday device, has, according to the Russian ambassador (and Dr. Strangelove), a half-life period of 93 years. He then states that it would contaminate Earth for 93 years. However, per definition half of the radioactivity would still be left after this period. (00:47:30)

Audio problem: When Kelly starts talking about colon flushing Charlotte gets up to join Bob at the bar. In the background Kelly continues her story, but her mouthing and gestures are not at all in line with her words. (00:37:20)

Continuity mistake: When Charlotte and Bob are lying on the bed and he tells her about how it is to get children, her hair changes back and forth between tidily combed back and messily covering her ear. (01:09:00)

Continuity mistake: When Bob tries to escape the services of the massage lady he falls down on the floor. In close-up he is much closer to the night stand than when he gets up in the next shot. (00:18:00)

Being There (1979)

Continuity mistake: When Chance sits down at Mr. Jennings' bed, the dead man's head, which was rested on a rather small pillow, now almost disappears in a pillow about twice the size. (00:07:20)

Stepmom (1998)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jackie and the children dance wildly across the landing there is a teddy bear sitting with back to the railing. The camera moves to the dancers, and when it returns to the teddy it has turned to the side. (01:14:15)

Stepmom (1998)

Continuity mistake: The arrangement of pillows behind Ben changes in the scene where Jackie tells the family that she has cancer (best seen in relation to the star pattern of the sofa). (01:09:35)

Stepmom (1998)

Continuity mistake: When Luke proposes to Isabel his shoulders are quite woolly in shots from the front, but shaved in shots from the side. (00:45:25)

Stepmom (1998)

Continuity mistake: When Jackie talks to Anna on Christmas Eve and the camera is on Anna the only thing you see in the background is a mug with the handle pointing to the side. In the last wide shot the mug has turned around. (01:53:00)

Stepmom (1998)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Luke and his children have a talk on the lakeside Anna's hair is perfectly tied to a ponytail in shots from the side and from the back, but there's a lot of loose hair flying in the wind in shots from the front. (00:16:25)

Stepmom (1998)

Revealing mistake: The scene where Jackie takes Anna for a night ride in the snow is special for several reasons: Even though it's the first snow of the year and no earlier scene made the impression that it is particularly cold, they come by a lake that's half covered with ice. Both don't wear gloves (horse riders usually wear gloves even in summer!), and, in spite of the cold night, their breath doesn't make any clouds. (01:20:35)
