Movie Nut

Correction: We've seen numerous instances on the show where people are able to move during transport. There's an entire episode dedicated to Mr. Barkley's being able to move around inside the transporter beam.

Corrected entry: When Snoopy sets up the table, he puts plates out, topped with napkins. The last one was removed, due to Woodstock being under it, and not replaced.

Movie Nut

Correction: While we don't see it replaced, plenty of time passes before the guest arrive. In fact, when the guest and Charlie Brown are walking out to the table, Linus and Sally are already standing by the table waiting and could have easily put the napkin back (if it wasn't Snoopy).

Corrected entry: Linus, Sally, and Charlie Brown are talking about Thanksgiving coming up. Sally complains "I haven't even finished my Halloween candy!" Funny thing, considering that Sally sat with Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, therefore missed out on the candy.

Movie Nut

Correction: There's no reason to think the pumpkin patch incident (from a movie made 7 years before this one) happened the same year as this thanksgiving. Even if we assume this, just because Sally missed trick or treating and the party doesn't mean she didn't have Halloween candy (I have Halloween candy each year myself without ever going trick or treating or to parties).

Maximum Overdrive (1986)

Corrected entry: If the vehicles are turning on humans, why didn't Curtis and Connie's car try to kill them? The only answer is that them making it to the truck stop serves the story line.

Movie Nut

Correction: SPOILER ALERT: At the end of the movie it states the Russians blew up a UFO, implying perhaps it was aliens who controlled everything and everything that happened was just the Aliens playing or experimenting with us. So letting humans have control over some mechanical things was part of their plan, not a plot hole.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: After Albert is thrown through the window, there is a large bloody gash over his right eyebrow. The next day, there's no gash or scar there.

Movie Nut

Correction: In the scene following the lead character's head getting cut, time has passed. His friend greets him at the door and says along the lines of "It's been, like, two weeks... What have you been doing?"

Annie (1982)

Corrected entry: The bench used in Mrs. Farrel and Annie's duet number has wheels that are plainly visible. The chair that Annie spins in likewise has wheels, where all other chairs in the room don't.

Movie Nut

Correction: Casters on furniture were patented by David A. Fisher in 1876 (and have been around since even earlier). Specifically designed to move furniture across hardwood floors, they were made from glass or leather and were very heavy. They definitely would have been on chairs and benches when Annie was set. As for Miss Hannigan only having one chair that rolls, she may have felt she didn't have room for more than one or she may not have been able to afford more than just one (remember that she doesn't make or get that much money).

Superman (1978)

Corrected entry: On Krypton, the rings circling and revolving around Zod and company go from revolving smoothly to slightly lopsided and back.

Movie Nut

Correction: They're meant to be some kind of prisoner restraint device. It's never explained how it works, but presumably, the rings emit some kind of force field. Varying the speed and direction of the rings' rotation would then be a way of keeping the prisoners from detecting a pattern and escaping.

Batman (1966)

Corrected entry: When Commodore Schmidlapp (Penguin in disguise) walks around exclaiming "Extraordinary", about seeing the Batcave, he seems to have forgotten about being there before. It happened along with the Joker in "The Penguin Declines" (S2 EP39).

Movie Nut

Correction: The movie takes place between the first and second seasons, so he hasn't been there yet.

Dragnet (1987)

Corrected entry: In Streebek's favorite "coffee house", Pep asks Joe for twenty bucks to get info on an illegal drug lab where the bad guys were mixing the stolen chemicals. When the scene changes to the alley outside the supposed drug lab, Friday's narrative claims he paid out fifty dollars to the informant.

Movie Nut

Correction: While he did say $50, it is implied that it took more than the original $20 to bribe the guy to find out where the lab is located.

Airwolf (1984)

Correction: Hawke and Dominic were flying into the area for the first time to drop Hawke off. They just happened upon the attempted rape scene in the back of the truck, as it was on their flight-path out in the middle of the desert. Later on Hawke says to Caitlin from the jail cell "you're her!" She replies "What?" Then Hawke passes his observation off as he doesn't want to reveal he was flying the military helicopter.

The Late Inspector General - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When the Inspector General walks toward Klink's office, he falls into a fake tunnel section. As he goes down, he has his outer coat over his shoulders. When the shot cuts to him in the hole, the coat is missing without having fallen off. After he is out, the coat is returned.

Movie Nut

Correction: Not a mistake. The coat does fall off his shoulders and one of the staff members starts to get it... Watch closely.

Volcano (1997)

Corrected entry: When the lava is first approaching Roark's SUV, the right rear tire gets done in by the lava. A minute later, he and his kid are on top of the vehicle, and the right rear tire blows out again.

Movie Nut

Correction: The second time it is the front tire.

Good-Bye Radar: Part 1 - S8-E4

Corrected entry: When talking to Klinger, Radar tells him that "Nobody helped me when I took this job." Yet later on, when Potter is among those complaining about Klinger, Mulcahy tells him about "a real Bozo" that had trouble with the simplest of tasks. And that Col. Blake took the guy under his wing, and helped him grow into the job.

Movie Nut

Correction: This error is taking the dialogue too literally. Radar isn't implying that nobody taught him, just that he had to work his way into the job himself, and without having anyone to fall back on if he dropped the ball. He is saying that Klinger should stop whining and make the effort, just like he had to back then.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: When K is standing outside of Jeebs's place, waiting for his brain to reboot, his hair is disheveled. When he comes back in, and saves J, his hair is neat and coiffed.

Movie Nut

Correction: That is because K took his time to fix his hair. Which really would not take anytime at all. All he'd have to do is run his hands through his hair, and even if he didn't, K likes to take his time, as seen in the first MIB film.

M*A*S*H (1972)

Correction: Not every shell automatically produces a sound audible beforehand at the location of impact. In fact, many artillery shells arrive on target at close to the speed of sound or even supersonic, making it physically impossible to hear any flight sound before the impact.

Doc

Corrected entry: In the pictures of the bow of the Red October, the doors for the Caterpillar Drive are shown as oval, yet in the close up shot of the door opening it looks more squared.

Movie Nut

Correction: The square looking door for the caterpillar drive are the rear doors, they're oval in front.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: When they're walking into the pizzeria, Kay is quoting a regulation to Jay. As he does so, he suddenly drops to the floor to avoid being hit with the pan. But he dropped before he could have seen Lara, as she was far enough around the corner of the wall to have been missed.

Movie Nut

Correction: This just shows how good of an agent K is. He could have heard her as she came around the corner.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: In the beginning, Serlena eats, then regurgitates the hood. The clothes he had on show no signs of dampness, or any other bodily fluids.

Movie Nut

Correction: Serlena is not a human. We have no idea what the digestive system of her species is like. It may be a dry digestion.

The Joker Is Wild - S11-E4

Corrected entry: To avoid being the last victim of the jokes, Hawkeye sets his bed up in the compound, surrounding it with barbed wire. Trouble is, the wire is wrapped in such a way as it would be impossible to him get over or through without getting cut to shreds.

Movie Nut

Correction: He probably stepped into the circle of his cot then pulled the wire around him.

A Christmas Story (1983)

Corrected entry: When the kids are putting gifts on Mrs. Shields' desk, the words "Merry Christmas" are written on the board behind her in red chalk. Later, when handing back the themes, the 'M' in Merry and the 'C' in Christmas are now written in white or yellow chalk, and the rest of the lettering is in a lighter red or orange chalk.

Movie Nut

Correction: It's a completely different day at school. Anyone who has ever been in a school knows that the original "Merry Christmas" on the chalkboard wouldn't have lasted long.
