Piemanmoo

Corrected entry: After toaster's nightmare, why does lightning strike the ground in front of a tent full of metal appliances?

Piemanmoo

Correction: This is a question, not a mistake. and to answear it lightning strikes randomly and does not always strike metal objects.

Corrected entry: When the appliances are leaving the house for the first time, Lampy sees the sun and says something like, "I wonder where the switch is", leading us to believe that he doesn't know what the sun is. However, when everybody is in the mechanical parts warehouse, while they (including Lampy) are singing a song, they look out of the window and call the sun "the sun," meaning that they now know what the sun is. At what point did they all learn this?

Piemanmoo

Correction: They may know that the Sun is called "The Sun," just like they know they are a Lamp, a Vacuum Cleaner, a Toaster, etc., but they don't know how it works.

Corrected entry: When the Hanging Lamp notices that Lampy's bulb is broken he gives him his own light bulb. The problem is that he still shines light even though he doesn't have his bulb in anymore.

Piemanmoo

Correction: He does still have a bulb. He says "Here, you can have one of mine." Apparently, he has more than one bulb to spare.

Correction: It is canonized in the final episode that, depending on how deeply Aang is tapping the power of The Avatar State, his every tattoo does not always radiate with energy.

Phixius

Correction: The 'camera' was on Sharon long enough for either Fred or Shaggy or the bad guy to put his glasses on.

The Santa Clause (1994)

Corrected entry: When the elves are tying up the security guard, one of the elves is holding his ribbon-sprayer, but nothing is coming out of it.

Piemanmoo

Correction: Watch closely. Three of the elves are spraying the police officer and one is standing next to Charlie watching and laughing. The three doing the spraying all have ribbon coming out of the guns.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: What exactly is the mistake here? We are not shown what Lisa did or didn't notice when she was in Skinner's office and I cannot see what mistake there would be in either respect.

Lummie

Corrected entry: When Shaggy is driving with the zombie on top of the van and he stops suddenly, the zombie flies off the roof and lands in the dirt. But in the next shot, he's leaning up against a tree.

Piemanmoo

Correction: The zombie is leaning against the tree in every single shot.

The Santa Clause (1994)

Correction: Snow doesn't have to mean temperatures below freezing. We have a lot of snow where I live, but you don't always see your breath, even in December. It is not just a matter of cold, but also of humidity.

Soylent Green (1973)

Correction: While the movie is loosely based on the book, director Richard Fleischer had no control over the change of the title. It came from MGM higher ups. Nor was the show popular at the time (it had been off the air for 9 years), they just didn't want to be confused with "a long dead TV series."

Bishop73

Correction: The title of the book the movie is based on is "Make Room, Make Room." The director always intended to change the name of the movie, as he was afraid it would be confused with the popular TV show at the time, "Make Room for Daddy."

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: That's not a mistake, it's just another one of many stupid things that the guys say.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: During the "Be Prepared" scene, Scar kicks one of the hyenas off the ledge into the bone pile. When the hyena climbs back up the ledge, and is dropped off again by Scar, the background turns yellow and you can see that the ledge has changed drastically.

Piemanmoo

Correction: By this point, the song has turned into a fantasy sequence as evidenced by the stylized shadows and designs on the wall behind him, the hyenas goosestepping on a lined field, and Scar's ascension on a rock propelled by magma.

Liar Liar (1997)

Corrected entry: Whenever Fletcher makes fun of Mr. Allen he has to end his insult with "figuratively speaking" or else it would be a lie (his boss isn't actually cow dung). How come this rule doesn't apply to the other people he insults at the board meeting, such as "you have your head so far up Mr. Allen's ass I can't tell where you end and he begins"?

Piemanmoo

Correction: You're taking it too literally. Remember that Fletcher is being asked what he THINKS about people, not what they actually are. In the example you mentioned, of course the guy doesn't actually have his head up Mr Allen's ass, but to Fletcher he is essentially a brown nose, so it isn't a lie. He doesn't need to say 'figuratively speaking' every time.

Daz

Show generally

Corrected entry: When Shendu has the first 11 1/2 talismans, he can't transform into his full dragon self yet, even though he has the Rat. But later on when he fights Jackie and looses the Rat, he suddenly reverts back to a statue.

Piemanmoo

Correction: He needs all twelve talismans to transform into the dragon, but he only needs the Rat to stay that way.

Corrected entry: Ducky was the first of the eggs to hatch, yet later it was stated that Cera was the oldest of all them, and Ducky was youngest.

Piemanmoo

Correction: Age is probably done by when the eggs were laid, not when they hatched.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Correction: No it doesn't. If you look carefully just below the hair line, his dogtag chain is visible signifying he's still wearing his dogtags.

The-Immortal

Corrected entry: Why would Rob's apartment have both an old-fashioned black and white TV and a hi-tech projector?

Piemanmoo

Correction: What does one have to do with the other? Even today, believe it or not, there are people who still own and use their black and whites, and have purchased other TVs and other modern electronics over the years.

Corrected entry: At the start, when Vernon is telling Harry about how much he has done for him, he says "out of the goodness of our hearts", yet he holds his hand over the wrong side of his chest (his right).

Piemanmoo

Correction: Where does it say he has to put his hand in a certain position? If you're inferring that his intention is to show where his heart muscle is, then that would simply be a character mistake. Needless to say, it is a deliberate irony for Vernon to claim that he actually has a heart where Harry is concerned.

Happy Gilmore (1996)

Corrected entry: Right before the clown scene, Happy is destroying the little signs. Then it shows that guy shaking his head. He is putting away from the clown hole in the opposite direction.

Piemanmoo

Correction: He probably attempted all the holes - we're just not shown them. After destroying the signs he would have gone to the next hole, but that's wouldn't necessarily be the clown one. The clown hole is just the next one we see Happy attempting.

The Lion King (1994)

Corrected entry: When Mufasa is hanging off the cliff he calls to Scar, "Brother..." You can hear someone whisper this to him before he says the line.

Piemanmoo

Correction: It's true that you can hear a muffled "brother" before Mufasa cries it out. But that's actually Mufasa, struggling to hold on to the cliff. Listen to it, it's spoken by James Earl Jones, voice of Mufasa.

That's not Mufasa saying it twice. For one, his mouth doesn't match what is said on the first one. Secondly it's in Scar's voice.
