The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: In the shot where Helen is telling Bob about the move being official, the clock on the counter reads 3:25 and 4 seconds, approximately. The second hand never moves.

Chris Moyer Grice

Correction: I have a clock similar to the one seen here. What appears to be a second hand is actually the alarm hand. You point it to the time you want the alarm to sound using a separate dial at the back.

Eastenders (1985)

Correction: You don't necessarily need to read to know how to operate objects you use every day. For example my little nephew can use a DVD remote despite being 3 and not being able to read.

Corrected entry: When trying to get on the rollercoaster in the beginning, Wendy and Kevin are cut off by 2 little kids. But they are asked to leave because they are not tall enough. How come death did not have a plan for them?

Correction: Because the children were never meant to get on the ride in the first place.

Friends (1994)

Correction: She could have got it before Joey bought them all. Or even bought it from another store.

Happy Gilmore (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Adam Sandler and Julie Bowen are at Subway, the wrappers for their subs are lying perfectly flat on the table; indicating they hadn't been used as wrappers at all.

Correction: I eat at Subway quite a lot and my wrappers always look like that, even though they have been used to wrap the sub.

Daddy Day Care (2003)

Corrected entry: Where did Tony (Flash) get the clothes when he took off the costume? His mom says that he's been wearing it for a few weeks, so he couldn't have had those clothes on while he was wearing the costume, otherwise we could see them underneath. He couldn't have come to Daddy Day Care like that because Charlie, Phil, and Marvin think he's missing and the costume's there.

Correction: He is not wearing "clothes" when we first see him, he is wearing a vest and underpants. These were on underneath his Flash costume.

The Simpsons (1989)

Tree House of Horror VI - S7-E6

Corrected entry: In "Attack Of The 50 ft. Eyesores", Kent Brockman is eaten or crushed by a giant version of himself. He then appears at the end of the segment, intact. (00:02:35 - 00:06:25)

Correction: The Tree House of Horror episodes show many people dying and coming back. They are meant as Halloween specials and as such they do not follow normal logic.

Corrected entry: Hatsue is born and raised in the U.S, yet she speaks with a noticeable Japanese accent. If you learn a language before 7 (as Hatsue surely would have done, starting school at 6 or 7 for first grade) it is very unlikely you will have an accent, even if you speak other languages as well.

Correction: My 8 yr old cousin speaks with a broad Welsh accent despite being born and raised in Canada and attending a French speaking school. Both her parents are Welsh and she has picked up the accent from them.

Hellboy (2004)

Corrected entry: When Hellboy is standing outside the asylum, one of the patients is heard saying, "There's a big red man down there." A nurse replies, "Santa isn't coming for another month." Since Hellboy has just walked through a big Halloween party, it's actually 2 months until Christmas.

Mark Bernhard

Correction: It is not uncommon for volunteers dressed as Santa to visit asylums, hospitals, and schools in the run up to xmas. The nurse could be referring to the fact that "Santa" will be making a visit in a month.

Dear Frankie (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Frankie takes Ricky's photo at the soccer practice the camera's flash activates despite the fact the sun is bright enough to cast shadows and cause the cast to squint throughout most of the scene. (00:52:10)

OneHappyHusky

Correction: This is not out of the question. the flash on my camera comes on automatically regardless of the amount of light. In bright weather I have to manually switch it off, which Frankie might not have done.

Little Britain (2003)

Season 1 Episode 8 - S1-E8

Corrected entry: When the man's phone goes off while he is playing the piano, there is a monophonic sounding text tone. That phone is a Nokia 6100, and the tone should have had a more polyphonic tone to it.

OL1V3R666

Correction: Polyphonic phones can still be used to download monophonic tones. My phone enables real sounding ringtones yet I still have my old monophonic tones.

Urban Legend (1998)

Corrected entry: The Dean and Reese interview Natalie about her room mate's death and advise Natalie that it was suicide as there was "no evidence of foul play." This is ridiculous as it would not be up to them. Local law enforcement would have jurisdiction and utilize a forensics team to determine what happened. The FBI would probably also be involved given the campus history. The Dean and campus Security Guard would have no say whatsoever regarding case particulars.

Correction: They have no bearing on the outcome of the case and the forensic investigation would still go on. The dean and Reese were just trying to make Natalie feel safer and stop worrying about her roomate's death.

Signs (2002)

Corrected entry: At one point, the little girl turns up the volume on the television set, where some professor is discussing the crop circles. The television is muted, yet the sound comes on instantly when she presses the button. Furthermore, despite the fact the she has her hand on the volume button for a good few seconds, the sound level on the TV remains the same.

Correction: Not really a mistake as my TV works in exactly the same way. To turn it off mute I need to press the volume button. Also when i hold down my volume button it doesnt always turn the volume up. Sometimes there is a need to repress the button. This happens alot on older tv's or where the remote is not the original.

Runaway Jury (2003)

Corrected entry: In the very beginning of the movie, Henry turns five years old. During the first day of the trial (when the jury and the foreman are elected), Rohr says that Henry was six years old.

Grigory the Wanderer

Correction: It is pointed out later in the film in a speech by Dustin Hoffman that a year has passed since the shooting of Henry's father.

Corrected entry: After Olaf has given a tour of his home, the narrator begins talking about first impressions. When he mentions Klaus and his younger sister, he says that six weeks after she was born they were "fetching and biting for hours" together. Six week old babies do not have teeth. (00:14:20)

Correction: Although it is rare for a baby of that age to have teeth it is not impossible. I know of occasions where babies have been born with a tooth.
